Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Hogbin Drive, Coffs Harbour - 130608-24NSW-RTR
Hogbin Drive and Stadium Drive are both regional roads, and Hogbin Drive is Coffs Harbour's second busiest road based on traffic volume. This roundabout provides direct access to the Coffs Harbour Education Campus, access to and from Sawtell, access to the Coffs Harbour International Stadium, and access to the Pacific Hwy. The road seal is in poor condition with frequent potholes and shoves due to age and high traffic volumes, including heavy vehicle/truck and bus screwing effects.The works proposed is to renew approximately 3635 m2 of the existing seal by a deep lift asphalt treatment, consisting of 60 mm HD AC20, and 40 mm A15E.
Stadium Drive, Coffs Harbour - 130610-24NSW-RTR
Stadium Drive is a regional road connecting Hogbin Drive to the Pacific Hwy, and Phil Hawthorne Drive is a local road which provides access to the Coffs Harbour Health Campus (Base Hospital) staff car park. The road also provides access to local sporting fields, and Motor Sports Complex. The road seal is in poor condition with frequent potholes, due to age and relatively high traffic volumes, including some screwing effects at the intersection.The works proposed is to renew approximately 840 m2 of the existing seal by a deep lift asphalt treatment, consisting of 100 mm AC20.
Solitary Islands Way, Sandy Beach - 130613-24NSW-RTR
This road is an arterial road providing access to medium density housing estates, farming properties, beach access to Sandy Beach (via Diamond Head Drive), and provides connection to and from the Pacific Hwy. The road is also a bus route for the nearby Sandy Beach Public School, and other schools within the LGA. The road pavement has failed in sections, resulting in shoves, potholing and edge breaks, as a result of an ageing seal and pavement, and historical prolonged wet weather.The works proposed is to renew approximately 3262 m2 of the existing pavement by appropriate stabilisation, followed by a 2-coat spray seal.

This roundabout provides direct access to the Coffs Harbour CBD, access to and from Sawtell, access to the Coffs Harbour Racecourse, and access to the Pacific Hwy. The road seal is in poor condition with frequent potholes and shoves due to age and high traffic volumes, including heavy vehicle/truck and bus screwing effects.The works proposed is to renew approximately 3514 m2 of the existing seal by a deep lift asphalt treatment, consisting of 60 mm HD AC20, and 40 mm A15E.
River Street, Woolgoolga - 130611-24NSW-RTR
This road is a collector road providing access to Woolgoolga's second main business district from Solitary Islands Way, which includes a temple, museum, mixed small business, and a hotel/motel. It is also frequently used as a back road to access the Woolgoolga Beach (via Beach Street). The road seal is in poor condition with frequent potholes and shoves, due to age and relatively high traffic volumes, including some screwing effects at the intersection of Solitary Islands Way.The works proposed is to renew approximately 764 m2 of the existing seal by a deep lift asphalt treatment, consisting of 60 mm AC20 and 40 mm AC14.

Road base preparation and road seal.Asphalt sealing of approximately 1 km stretch road. This project is co-funded by the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program, managed by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.Total cost of proposed project is $375,274
Colley Drive, Kiama - 130434-24NSW-RTR

Curramore Road, Curramore - 130441-24NSW-RTR
Pavement failure. This sealed gravel road shows block cracking, transverse and longitudinal cracking, pavement deformation, rutting and shoving, alligator cracking throughout the 600-metre section.The failures illustrate road base and sub base issues and proposed method of improvement is a cement stabilised road base with road seal to improve the pavement design life. This project is being co-funded by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program Phase 4. Funding has been secured.Total cost of proposed project is $210,000
