Eighth Street, Mildura - 132291-25VIC-RTR
The current intersection layout gives priority to a lower-volume local road (Riverside Avenue) over a higher-volume arterial road (Eighth Street), leading to confusion over right-of-way. This results in unsafe driver behaviour such as sudden stops, wrong turns, and increased collision risks. The intersection also lacks adequate infrastructure for vulnerable road users, including pedestrians and cyclists, and suffers from poor visibility, drainage issues, and inadequate signage. Intersection upgrades including raised safety platforms, traffic islands, cyclist sharrows, new footpath connections, pavement widening and resurfacing, upgraded lighting, improved drainage, and enhanced signage and line marking, all aimed at improving safety, accessibility, and traffic flow. Additional funding is Safe Local Roads and Streets $500,000 and Mildura Rural City Council funds $116,044

Woodlands Avenue, Balmoral - 132526-25NSW-RTR
Woodlands Drive, Newhaven Close and Hendon Close are existing sealed roads in Lake Macquarie, situated within a rapidly growing urban area. Due to increased traffic volumes and the advanced age of the pavements, the roads have experienced significant structural failures. These ongoing issues have rendered routine maintenance ineffective and unsustainable. As a result, full reconstruction of the road is now necessary to ensure safety, functionality, and long-term resilience.Road Rehabilitation and drainage improvement along 3 suburban streets in Balmoral. Council will fund the balance of the total project cost.Total cost of proposed project is $2,800,000

The old material will be removed and the pavement will be repaired. New surface material will then be added. The kerbing will also be replaced.
Amanbidji Access Road, Katherine - 132084-25NT-RTR
The Amanbidji community becomes inaccessible during the wet season due to the localised flooding or saturated pavement condition due to the impassability of water. Medical services, police support and food supplies can only be delivered by air transport when the road is impassable due to flooding. The road is currently formed with no gravel. Upgrading to gravel road will improve road condition and access. Upgrade 11 to 22 kilometres from formed to gravel standard.
