Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Sandalwood Road (rural road) - 065452-16WA-RTR
Heavy traffic on this road and age of bitumen seal has caused pavement failure. This section is deteriorating quickly and needs resealing to preserve the road surface.Preparation of bitumen surface and resealing with 10mm aggregate including two significant flood crossings.
Ongerup Pingrup Road (rural road) - 065453-16WA-RTR
This section of road has a narrow seal averaging 5 meters wide. This is causing safety issues with the heavy trucks that use the road. The bitumen is also old and is rapidly deteriorating adding to continuing high maintenance costs. The shoulders were rebuilt in the 15/16 financial year but not sealed.Adding 0.4m of seal to each shoulder and then reseal complete road pavement to 6.4m.Total cost of proposed project is $231,420
Piccadilly Road, York - 065460-16WA-RTR
Clay areas with minimal gravel on pavement area and vegetation encroaching into road.Form up pavement area to improve drainage and Resheet with gravel at 100 millimeters in thickness.
Cameron Road, York - 065461-16WA-RTR
Clay areas with minimal gravel on pavement area and vegetation encroaching into road.Tree prune, form up pavement area to improve drainage and Resheet with gravel at 100 millimeters in thickness.
Duck Pool Road, York. - 065463-16WA-RTR
Minimal Gravel on pavement area, water ponding and vegetation encroaching on to the road.Tree prune, form up pavement area to improve drainage and Resheet with gravel at 100 millimeters in thickness.
Back Berrigan Road(SR3),(Rural Road), - 065466-16NSW-RTR
The bitumen seal is 6.2 metres wide. B double trucks and semi-trailers are punched onto the gravel road shoulder when passing other traffic. The road shoulders have scoured and hold water which has soaked under the sealed carriageway. The outer section of the carriageway has deformed.Remove existing seal. Rework and widen the road formation. Stabilise both side of the shoulders to width of 2.4m. Lay and compact 100mm layer of pavement material followed by 10mm primer seal, Line marking and erection of roadside furniture.
Greenvale Road (SR7 ), (Rural Road), - 065467-16NSW-RTR
Existing bitumen seal is 5.6 metres wide. Bitumen surface has lost its original shape and hold water when wet. Edge break has occurred to bitumen surface and constant maintenance required .Remove the exiting bitumen seal. Rework and widen road formation to minimum of 4.5m from the centre line. Incorporate 2.5% lime stabilising agent into the pavement material. Compact pavement and Spray 10mm primer seal. Install guide posts and required road signs.
Back Berrigan Road (SR3 ),(Rural Road), - 065468-16NSW-RTR
Bitumen surface has lost its original shape, deformed and hold water when wet. Edge break has occurred to bitumen surface and constant maintenance required .Remove the existing bitumen seal. Rework and widen road formation to minimum of 4.5m from the centre line. Incorporate 2% lime stabilising agent into the pavement material. Compact pavement and Spray 7m wide 10mm primer seal. Install guide posts and required road signs.
Ridge Road, Oakdale - 065472-16NSW-RTR
The road is very rough, with multiple, patched potholes and new ones occurring.To rip existing surface, spread 200 mm granular material and seal with two coat seal.
Christine Avenue, Robina - 065473-16QLD-RTR
The existing roundabout configuration is experiencing significant congestion due to particular traffic movements. Signalisation will reduce congestion in the area.Upgrade of the Christine Avenue and Scottsdale Drive intersection from a roundabout to construct a new signalised intersection. The project involves the replacement of the existing roundabout with signals, a slip lane on Scottsdale Drive and upgrades to street lighting. The upgrade will improve the safety and efficiency of the intersection and reduce congestion in the area.Total cost of proposed project is $4,010,000
