William Street East, Roseville - 092079-17NSW-RTR
Existing wearing surface has deteriorated. Road pavement has developed pot-holes, cracking and surface deformation.Surface wearing course 176m x 6.5m to be removed and replaced with new asphalt at 40mm depth.
Robertson Road Upgrade Package
This project delivered the reconstruction of two local roads at Davis Street Booker Bay and Ryans Road Umina Beach to provide improved road pavement, drainage, and pedestrian facilities.
Bass Highway - Wynyard Intersection Upgrades
The project upgraded several intersections crossing the Bass Highway near Wynyard to mitigate the risk of serious crashes at high-risk junctions in the area.
Faulkner St, Armidale - 065464-16NSW-RTR
Has been listed on numerous occasions for Federal and State Blackspot grant funding to address the traffic and pedestrian safety issues for the location. Peak hour buildup of traffic; significant accident reports; requests by Disabled and Access restricted community groups;Substantial utility relocation; subsoil drainage, drainage kerb inlets and upgraded stormwater lines; relocation of gas utility; removal and replacement of kerb returns; placement of new roundabout annulus island; granular pavement and asphalting or full depth asphalt pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $590,000
Old Thoona Road Benalla - 067730-16VIC-RTR
Road surface is deteriorating through loss of stone and oxidation and has cracking and potholes that are becoming a hazard and allowing water to penetrate through to the subbase in order to preserve the asset.pothole repairs and repairs to rutting to bring road surface up to standard for resealing next year
Madgwick Drive, Armidale - 068541-16NSW-RTR
Approximately 200 metres of insitu pavement deterioration, caused by poor underlying drainagePavement rehabilitation. Subsoil drainage line placement, Kerbing. Reshape road surface with additional pavement material, including bike lanes Primer seal, and permanent two coat seal in 12 months
Rockvale Road, Thalgarrah - 068542-16NSW-RTR
Underlying drainage issues, narrow carriageway, high surface roughness and longitudinal cracking severity of the bitumen seal wearing course, shallow pavement material depth, unsatisfactory shoulder qualityApproximately 1200 to 1400 metres of existing road alignment to be rehabilitated. Rehabilitation to include minor widening to take carriageway width to 7.5m, with insitu shoulders to be boxed out and replaced with a Select Pavement material. Road longitudinal alignment generally compliant with Armidale Dumaresq Council Engineering Code standards, and will be retained. Tabledrains to be cut to a depth below quality pavement. Minimal overlay to allow for complying pavement depth, and reprofiling of road surface. Wearing course to be a primer seal, with follow up 2 coat 14/7 seal in approximately 12 months.Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
Dangars Falls Road, Armidale - 068543-16NSW-RTR
Pavement exhibiting severe wide longitudinal cracking, of approximately 25% severity, or prevalence. Cracking is wide, and deep. The cracking is believed to be attributed to pavement rigidity and underlying subgrade reactivity, poor drainage.Rehabilitation of the existing modified pavement. Treatment to involve use of pavement reprofiling or pulverising machine 'Pulvi' and incorporation of additional select pavement material to modify the modulus of elasticity and provide for a less rigid pavement structure. Possible placement of sub-soil 'herringbone' style configuration. Drainage channels/tabledrains to be re-established. Appropriately sized drainage culvert to be installed, or repair of existing."Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
Wollomombi Falls Road, Wollomombi - 068544-16NSW-RTR
The access road to the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park is the Wollomombi Falls Road, maintained by Armidale Dumaresq Council. The narrow [2.9m seal] roadway is highly deteriorated. The roadway has a bi-secting short causeway of 3.6m width, requiring rehabilitation. A public access ramp across the public road is requiring replacement or removal.Existing shoulders are in reasonable condition, but will require reshape/tidy up to present as a widening of carriageway. Existing formation to be widened, and tyned or pulverised, with addition of moderate pavement overlay to allow for pavement stiffening or strengthening, or shape correction of road surface. Table drains to be re-cut and shaped, and longitudinal correction. Causeway to be widened to allow for two way traffic. Removal and possible replacement of public ramp.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
Digilah East Road (rural road) - 068696-16NSW-RTR
The surface of the existing road is sealed with bitumen and stone. The bitumen binder is deteriorated and is causing loss of stone from the surface and allowing ingress of water into the pavement.Resurfacing the existing pavement with one layer of bitumen and stone.
