Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Middlesex Road (rural road) - 092310-17WA-RTR
A number of sections of the road have poor subgrade and/or poor pavement thickness and/or failing seal resulting in numerous failures along the road.Where the subgrade is poor, excavate sufficient depth and fill with suitable material to form a stable base on which to form a road, then place a spray seal. Where the pavement thickness is insufficient, break up the existing seal, add gravel and reform the road to the required shape then place a reseal. Where the seal is failing, either rip the pavement surface, reform the road to the required shape and place a spray seal or if the existing seal has sufficient integrity, place a reseal.
Clifford Street, West Meringandan - 092311-17QLD-RTR

Narrow curve, surface failures and stormwater drainage concerns presenting a risk to the traveling public in addition to increasing maintenance costs.Scarify and widen existing pavement approximately 500m from the Southern intersection with Goombungee Meringandan Road, 5.5m (nominal) formation to 7m. Pavement rehabilitation, localised widening and table drain improvements for remainder of road to the Northern intersection with Goombungee Meringandan Road. Augmentation of underground stormwater pipes at the intersection of Peters Road and Willis Road.Total cost of proposed project is $2,143,365

Longerenong Road, (rural road), Horsham 3400 - 092319-17VIC-RTR
Pavement failed due to heavy traffic and poor drainage. Poor riding surface, narrow seal and drainage issues are to be addressed.An extra pavement layer to be installed including replacement of sealed surface. This will provide a smooth riding surface, safe traffic passage and improved drainage. Length 970 metres x 6.2 metres wide.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000

Old Minyip Road, (rural road), Horsham 3400 - 092321-17VIC-RTR
Gravel shoulder is weathered due to rain, wind and heavy traffic. Sealed edge breaking and shoulder drop-off are to be addressed.Reshaping the shoulder both sides and topping them with 100 mm compacted thickness of gravel to provide a smooth riding shoulder surface and improved drainage. Length 2475 metres x 2 metres wide.
