Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Clayton Road, Williams (Rural Road) - 093989-17WA-RTR
The road seal is too narrow to cater for the increasing number of heavy vehicles and there is also insufficient shoulder width.The first stage of this project was completed in 2016-17 with widening of the road formation and culvert structures. This stage will widen the bitumen seal on the first section, at straight line kilometre 0.00 to 2.00. Also continue the widening of the road formation and culvert structures at straight line kilometre 2.00 to 4.00.
Glen Road, Huonville - 093990-17TAS-RTR
The existing road is deficient in strength and is breaking up in sections. Alignment and sight issues exist off the end of a single lane bridge.Improve existing drainage and culverts. Road pavement to be stabilised with a lime &/or cement agent as determined by the pavement design. Pavement to have an additional 120mm thick granular layer of fine crushed rock and finished with a two coat seal to provide a smooth and consistent surface.
Cygnet Coast Road, Wattle Grove - 093991-17TAS-RTR
The existing road is deficient in strength and is breaking up in sections.Improve existing drainage and culverts. Road pavement to be stabilised with a lime &/or cement agent as determined by the pavement design. Pavement to have an additional 120mm thick granular layer of fine crushed rock and finished with a two coat seal to provide a smooth and consistent surface.
Bluff Road, Charters Towers - 093992-17QLD-RTR
Downstream erosion has occurred.It is proposed to repair the erosion and concrete to prevent from reoccurring when the river is next running.
Macquarie Road, Campbell Town (Rural Road) - 093994-17TAS-RTR
This section of road was not constructed with a pavement to cope with current traffic nor heavy vehicles as well as being badly effected by tree roots, the pavement is failing under the seal, has lost shape and is potholing.The work proposed includes minor widening and drainage works to provide a 5.5m wide sealed pavement and a 750mm gravel shoulder. Trees adjacent to the road will be removed, new gravel will be carted, placed, compacted and sealed.
Barton Road, Campbell Town (Rural Road) - 093995-17TAS-RTR
This section of road was not constructed with a pavement to cope with current traffic nor heavy vehicles, the pavement is failing under the seal, has lost shape and is potholing.The work proposed includes minor widening and drainage works to provide a 5.5m wide sealed pavement and a 750mm gravel shoulder. New gravel will be carted, placed, compacted and sealed
Terrick Road, (Rural Road) Blackall - 093997-17QLD-RTR
Surface deterioration of existing pavement and upgrade to allow all weather access.Resheet and pave and seal
Quarter Sessions Road, Tongarra, - 094032-17NSW-RTR
This road is currently unsealed, subject to scouring after moderate rain events. The road is remote and expensive to maintain frequently, the road is not accessable by 2wd cars at times.Length of work is 700m. Introduce 50mm of stabilised road base and blend with the existing road material, prepare surface for 3000M2 - 2 coat spray seal and apply seal.
Kennys Road (Rural Road) - 094046-17VIC-RTR
Wearing course on the road has deteriorated making the surface not as effectiveTo place a 50 millimetre layer of 20 millimetre rock blend material across the road surface, compact and reshape the road and clean roadside drainage to ensure water runs away from the road pavement.
Beilbys Road (Rural Road) - 094047-17VIC-RTR
