Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The existing road surface and pavement between 5 and 17 Castlemain Rd has a major structural defect within the road pavement that has cause a large section of the roadway to sink.The scope of this project is to reduce the ground water from entering the pavement structure of the road between the defined section and to reconstruct the pavement layers to support the capacity and function of a collector road.
Langs Road (Rural Road) - 094543-17TAS-RTR
Replacement of the timber deck and girders as they are in poor condition with visible signs of decay, including discoloration, staining and splitting. The two concrete abutment of this bridge are in fair condition and will not be replaced.A new concrete bridge will be installed. This will reinstate the design load limit back to T44 (44 Tonne) rating as required in the AS1720 (Australian Standard AS 1720 Timber Structures Part 1)

Existing pavement and associated road assets is beyond serviceable life with significant deformation, rutting and cracking. Poor and inadequate stormwater drainage including damaged kerb and channel, deteriorated rubber road cushions which have all contributed to the road failure.Road reconstruction of Malmsbury Drive between Barry Road and Parish Court including road pavement, kerb and channel, drainage, pedestrian crossing facilities and upgrade ofTotal cost of proposed project is $1,670,757
Mount Wedge Road (Rural Road) - 094554-17SA-RTR
There is lack of good rubble on the running surface. Wear rate is high due to traffic volume. The surface is very rough and potholed. Drains are not functioning properly and are impacting on all weather access to the road.Recreate base with introduced crushed limestone rubble. Trees will be trimmed and drainage created, where required. Road will be sealed using 14/7mm treatment with C170 binder.Total cost of proposed project is $1,988,880
Bradbury Avenue, Campbelltown NSW 2560 - 094556-17NSW-RTR
The road surface is oxidized and affected by extensive level of environmental cracking.The proposed treatment includes rectification of the asphalt fatigue area with heavy patching treatment first. Then the whole section will be treated with hot mix asphalt with interlayer seal. Length is 441m and average width is 10.6m.
