Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Winton Jundah Road, Winton - 113228-20QLD-RTR
Unsealed road surface is deteriorating which is causing potholes and ponding water in the road. Need to repair and seal the road to improve safety.Pave and seal the whole length of the road, some reseal work.Total cost of proposed project is $1,393,797
Westcott Road, Medina - 113266-20WA-RTR
Existing road seal and infrastructure has reached it's end of asset life and requires replacing.Replace existing and install new drainage infrastructure. Remove and dispose of existing kerb and footpath. Install new kerb base and complete new pavement works for car parking bays. Undertake Emulsion stabilisation. Install new kerbing, pram ramps and footpath. Install final wearing course. Complete line marking reinstatements and necessary back-filling.
Crera Road, Invergordon - 113270-20VIC-RTR
Ageing seal is cracking which allows moisture to enter the road pavement, works required to prevent major deterioration.Reseal with a bituminous layer and aggregate
Witham Road (Rural Road) - 113265-20WA-RTR
Thinning gravel as this road hasn't had much re-sheeting works done due to low traffic. These two sections are now part of a new recent school bus route that traverses the entire length of the road. Vegetation encroaching on backslopes and backslope inclines are too shallow. Damaged guideposts along these two sections of road.Cart gravel to site. Lay gravel, wet down and compact with roller then shape with grader. Blade off vegetation on backslopes and increase incline of backslopes to properly divert water into drains. Install new guideposts every 300 metres along both sections.
Buniche North Road (Rural Road) - 113264-20WA-RTR
Ongoing damage to road from heavy traffic trying to get to the main road (Lake Grace-Newdegate Road). Thinning gravel surface along these two connected sections. These sections are also a school bus route.Push up gravel in nearby pits on private land. Cart in 3,150 cubic metres of gravel. Lay gravel, wet and roll then shape with grader. Clear off vegetation on backslopes with grader then cut to shape.
Metz Road (Rural Road) - 113273-20NSW-RTR
Degraded and defected unsealed roadProposed work is the gravel resheeting and remediation of this unsealed road.
Douglas Street, Noble Park - 113267-20VIC-RTR
Major pavement failures, heavily patched due past failures, cracked and with joints (points of weakness) arising due to construction of widenings.Road maintenance including minimal kerb renewal work, road patching and resurfacing. Structurally improve base pavement layers and provide a new wearing surface. Resurfacing will serve to better waterproof the road, eliminate the need for any maintenance in the foreseeable future and make its appearance more homogeneous with improved ride-ability and skid resistance, noting this is one of Councils busier collectors
Allnutt Street, Quirindi - 113275-20NSW-RTR
Localised flooding creating concern for some residents with water entering property and flooding vehicle access. Terrain is flat which hinders stormwater runoff.Installation of Kerb & Gutter and associated pipework is the most feasible option to eliminate the existing drainage issue. The Allnutt St Kerb & Gutter design allows for installation on both sides of the road. Stage 1 is installation of Kerb & Gutter on the northern side only.
Bosisto Street, Richmond - 113274-20VIC-RTR
The Kerb and channel has many depressions and is holding water. Run-off from the road pavement is pooling up in the channel and not flowing. The road has depressions, potholes, an uneven surface and has lost its form.The kerb and channel will be reconstructed, and the road pavement will be re-asphalted to match the new design levels. Road narrowing’s and speed humps will also be installed to address road safety issues
Maitland St - 113179-20NSW-RTR
The existing intersection is operating at a poor level of service and is not functioning properly to cater for the efficient and safe movement of traffic.Construction of a signalised road intersection including civil construction works to modify drainage, lower a water main, widen pavement, kerb and gutter and installation of traffic signal poles and electrical controls.Total cost of proposed project is $1,600,000
