Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

waterfall road, (rural road) - 113927-20WA-RTR
The existing road has not been re-sheeted in recent memory. Granite rock is now exposed, creating safety concerns. The road crosses multiple streams, and in high rainfall events washes out the road due to an incorrect road profile and inadequate drainage.Resheet Road from Straight Line kilometres 5.80-8.37 to maintain quality of road asset and reform road to correct profile. Existing drainage culverts to be remediated and new culverts installed where required to prevent water pooling on road in high rainfall events.
Qualen West Road - Rural Road - Shire of York - 113926-20WA-RTR
The existing stone chip seal has reached the end of its useful life and is stripping. A new seal if required to provide a good trafficable surface and to ensure water does not penetrate the road pavement. The table drain has filled up with material over the years and needs to be redefined and there is drop off between the seal and the shoulders in some sections that need addressing.Redefine table drains, grade gravel shoulders and reseal with a 10mm stone chip seal.

Road is to narrow in this section at only 5 metres wide causing vehicular conflicts.Upgrade drainage, carry out cement stabilising and shoulder widening

Merrilea Road, Dubbo - 113943-20NSW-RTR
Insufficient table drain capacity resulting in stormwater sheet flow across Merrilea Road impacting road safety and flooding private property.Increase capacity of table drain including existing culverts.
Carnarvon Mullewa Road, (rural road) - 113944-20WA-RTR
This section of road is identified as part of the Shire of Upper Gascoyne's long term strategic plan to seal between Gascoyne Junction and Meekatharra and in its existing state is unsuitable to be sealed.Reconstruct existing subgrade and import good quality material to form a suitable base course for sealing with 14/7mm double coat bitumen.Total cost of proposed project is $951,255
Kirkham Road, Murrumbeena - 113947-20VIC-RTR
Approximately 470m long kerb & channel and 1800sqm of roads are dilapidated condition. The roads have deteriorated over the years and uneven, showing signs of failures. Extensive kerb and channel damage as well as uneven road pavement causing drainage problems, vehicle crossovers damage, and some scraping of road pavement. Large trees on the nature strip causing some issue. There is no enough drainage in the street either, to drain the road surface runoff to underground pits and pipes.The work involves installing new kerb and channel, reconstructing failed pavement sections, installing underground drains, filling drainage trenches and constructing pavements, providing adequate drainage to the street and asphalt resurfacing.Total cost of proposed project is $610,000
Tarrpa Road, Lajamanu - 113948-20NT-RTR
The sealed road has surface cracks, potholes, aggregate strips, repeated patches, and shoulder damages. Therefore this result in lower level of service to community and also lead to higher risk of rapid deterioration of base and subgrade. This road needs resealing.It is proposed to rectify the cracks, potholes and reseal this road with aggregate and polymer modified binder.
Wampana Road, Lajamanu - 113949-20NT-RTR
The sealed road has surface cracks, potholes, aggregate strips, repeated patches, and shoulder damages.
