Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Stock Route Road (rural road) Point Pass - 115555-21SA-RTR
Stock Route Road is an unsealed category 2 commodity road carrying high volumes of freight predominantly primary produce such as grain and hay from the surrounding area. Volumes of freight exceed 30,000 tonnes per annum. Vehicle combinations include 26m B Double and 36.5m A Double Road Trains. The existing road surface has reached the end of life and requires renewal.Resurfacing of the existing roadway with quarry material sourced locally from Council rubble quarries.Total cost of proposed project is $70,331
Marriot Way, Morley - 115016-21WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 30 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Severe cracks and patches on most sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 563m long including drainage and associated works and 6.2m wide with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A =3491 m2
Banksia Road, Morley - 115017-21WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 30 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Severe cracks on most sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 569m long including drainage and associated works. Width of road 7.6m with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A =4324 m2
Bluegum Road, Morley - 115018-21WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 30 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Severe cracks on most sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 547m long including kerbing, drainage and associated works. Width of road 7.5m with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A =4103 m2
Trida Road (Rural Road) - 115573-21NSW-RTR
Unsealed road which has low lying flood prone areas and poor drainage which is boggy when wet and results in extended road closures following rain events.Formation earthworks will be undertaken to raise road height out of minor flood level. Install 3 new culverts to improve drainage flows away from road.Total cost of proposed project is $300,936
Moolah - Trida Road (Rural Road) - 115578-21NSW-RTR
Unsealed road which has low lying, flood prone areas and poor drainage. It is boggy when wet and has extended road closure times following rain events.Formation earthworks to raise road height and install 3 new culvertsTotal cost of proposed project is $291,360
Woore Street, Wilcannia - 115581-21NSW-RTR
No kerb and gutter results in poor drainage and access issues for residents. Pavement failure results in frequent potholes and cracking.Install new kerb and gutter both sides. Reconstruct pavement and seal to suit new kerb and gutter.Total cost of proposed project is $279,265
Westlake Road, Morley - 115019-21WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 11 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Severe cracks on most sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 691m long including drainage and associated works. Width of road 7.1.m wide with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A =4906 m2
Napier Road, Morley - 115021-21WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 30 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Severe cracks on most sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 832m long including drainage and associated works. Width of road 6.8m with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A =5658 m2
Miles Road, KEWDALE - 115584-21WA-RTR
It is as an important connection across the width of the Kewdale Industrial Estate. Heavy vehicle loads and turning stresses from over sized and over length vehicles rated under the Restricted Area Vehicles (RAV) programme run by the State's Main Roads Department have created excessive wear on the asphalt wearing course and started to deform the existing cross-sections in places.Length, width and area of job: 943m x 7.8m = 7,355m2. Profile and remove 100mm of materials from kerb side lane and 50mm from median lane. Replace with asphalt layers as per pavement design. Repair drainage and kerbing as required.Total cost of proposed project is $358,560
