Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Turner Road - Between Giblett Road and Mattamattup Street - BRIDGETOWN - 113594-21WA-BS

Deformed asphalt surface has been identified through road inspections and customer requests. the pavement surface has changed from the originally constructed profile which may directly influence the riding quality, water ponding and skid resistance. Echuca Serpentine Rd (Rural Rd) - 114709-21VIC-RTR
The existing seal is in poor condition and requires rehabilitation.It is proposed to apply a new seal.
Garnet Avenue - 115049-21VIC-RTR
Frequent road flooding occurring due to poor drainage, resulting in poor sections of pavement.Reconstruct drainage and install new kerb and channel to improve water harvesting, in addition to resealing poor sections of pavement.
Concession Street, Mungalup - 115419-21WA-RTR
Emergency access is restricted along the current narrow gravel track. Current track meanders in and out of the actual road reserve.Realign road so it is all located within the road reserve. Widen and Seal road.
Airport Boulevard, Ballina - 115415-21NSW-RTR
This section of new road is being constructed to provide for improved and safer access to meet future traffic demand for the regional airport and surrounding commercial precinct hub.The earthworks phase for this new road connection is already complete, and this project is the second phase of work which will complete the construction of the two lane road pavement (13m wide) with connecting roundabouts at each end, including local drainage and services plus the realignment of Corks Lane at the eastern roundaboutTotal cost of proposed project is $3,560,000
River Street, West Ballina - 115414-21NSW-RTR
This section of River Street comprises a single travel lane in each direction and is inadequate to deal with current and future traffic demand with significant congestion during existing peak travel periodsReconstruction of the existing road shoulder and parking lane pavements to provide for two travel lanes in each direction (3.4m each) plus a parking lane (2.8m) which includes upgraded drainage, kerb and gutter replacement with continuous central medianTotal cost of proposed project is $1,861,000
