Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Hulberts Road, Sawtell - 116397-21NSW-RTR
This section of Hulberts Road is in poor condition due to age and poor drainage adjacent the roadIt is proposed to widen and renew the existing pavement and wearing surface, as well as to construct approximately 250m of piped drainage with drainage swale adjacent the road.Total cost of proposed project is $912,558

Eckhoff Street, Heatley - 116471-21QLD-RTR
Aged asphalt surface with significant minor and moderate cracking throughout.Undertake digouts (407m2) to repair failed pavement areas as well as some kerb replacements (11m). Then undertake full width Mill and Replace. On completion reinstate all fire hydrant and sluice valve markers as well as all linemarking.
Quandong Street, Currajong - 116472-21QLD-RTR
Aged asphalt surface with multiple existing patches throughout. Longitudinal cracking covering approximately half of the surface as well as some transverse cracking in areas.Undertake digouts (14m2) then undertake full width Mill and Replace of entire surface. On completion reinstate all fire hydrant and sluice valve markers as well as all linemarking.
Wickham Street, Townsville City - 116476-21QLD-RTR
The asphalt surface is aged and displaying multiple areas of cracking and fatigue and is at the end of its lifespan.Undertake full width mill and replace. Sawcut existing seals where required, mill full surface and ensure milled surface is tight and uniform and install new asphalt surface. On completion ensure that all fire hydrant markers are correctly reinstated.
Seventh Street, Railway Estate - 116478-21QLD-RTR
This street has an aged seal that is deteriorating in areas and is at the end of its lifespan.Undertake kerb and channel replacements (13.52m) including defective side inlet pits. Complete all digouts (286m2) and undertake full width and full length Mill and Replace of the existing sealed surface. On completion ensure reinstatement of all fire hydrant and sluice valve markers as well as all linemarking.
Carnarvon Court, Deeragun - 116474-21QLD-RTR
The existing surface is an aged chip seal. There is significant pavement damage as a result of the defective kerbs. Kerbs display multiple defects throughout and there is significant evidence of moderate to severe ponding resulting in pavement infiltration.Undertake an asphalt overlay and undertake digouts to rectify the pavement damage at the lip of kerb. Conduct full length kerb and channel replacement from the side inlet pits.
Onion Creek Road, Cheepie - 116501-21QLD-RTR
Onion Creek road is currently a gravel road which washes away when heavy rainfall occurs. Flood repair funds are being used to repair these areas. To help prevent future damage, a bitumen seal is to be applied to provide resilience in the future.bitumen two coat sealing of gravel.
Wakeford Street, Aitkenvale - 116470-21QLD-RTR
Old asphalt seal with significant minor and moderate cracking throughout and some moderate to severe cracking in isolated areas. There is some minor to moderate deformation and unevenness in areas and some kerb replacement has been identified.Undertake some kerb replacement (34m). Then undertake full width Mill and Replace. On completion reinstate all fire hydrant and sluice valve markers as well as all linemarking. Additional digout areas in front of kerb replacements has been allowed for. Replacement of damaged and broken kerb in front of 6 side inlet pits in this section.
