Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mackay Street, Cootamundra - 117545-21NSW-RTR
Stage 2: Existing sealed surface is severely deformed with multiple pavement defects and inadequate pavement shape. This impacts riding quality and increases long term maintenance cost. Poor pavements and undulated kerb & gutter contributes to water ponding resulting in accelerating pavement defects.Cement/slag stabilize of existing subbase and overlay with DGB20 gravel to strength the pavement. Kerb & gutter will be replaced to improve the drainage of road.Total cost of proposed project is $1,208,760
Tarrup Street, Chidlow - 117540-21WA-RTR
Existing gravel road is deteriorating requireing regular grading to make safe and causing dust issues for adjoining residentsSeal existing 500 metres of gravel road for a width of 5 metres and formalise a turnaround at end of roadTotal cost of proposed project is $165,647

Extremely poor pavement shape with severe permanent deformations. Kerb & gutter lifted and prevents proper drainage.Rehabilitate of exiting pavement followed by bitumen sealing. Replacement of damaged kerb & gutter to improve the draiangesTotal cost of proposed project is $261,639
Cooper Lane, Cootamundra - 117551-21NSW-RTR
Existing sealed surface is in narrow, uneven, in poor condition which required currently high yearly maintenance. Existing kerb & gutter is damaged and lifted which resulting ponding of water. Entry of of the lane from the Bourke Street is not in standard gradeProper formation of pavement with bitumen sealing. Kerb & gutter will be replaced to improve the drainage. entry of copper lane from Bourke street will be reconstructed to the standard grade.Total cost of proposed project is $301,160
Muttama Road (Rural Road, Brawlin Area)-Stage 2 - 117552-21NSW-RTR
Existing sealed surface is in poor condition with pavement fails in number of spots and has been subject of high yearly maintenance costs. Narrow culverts and poor drainage to be improved.Stabilization of subbase with overlay of DGB20 aggregates. Culverts will be widen to improve the drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $445,766
Brawlin Road-Stage 1 (Cootamundra) - 117553-21NSW-RTR
Upgrading the existing gravel road. Works include widening to accommodate 2 way traffic, improvements to drainage to prevent road washouts and bitumen sealing.Improve reliability and resilience to local road network and increase life of asset. Provide safer route for students to access schools and bus services. Improved access for emergency vehicles. Improving the road service condition will improve travel times and ride quality.Total cost of proposed project is $251,824
