Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

This road has been identified as requiring re-sealing as part of Yass Valley Council's Annual Resealing Program. This is a Rural Road in our LGA that is in need of maintenance as it is becoming unsafe and unsuitable for drivers to utilise.Reseal the identified areas and undertake heavy patching if required to improve the road surfaces for all road users, reduce the amount of maintenance Council is required to undertake and to assist in improving our rural roads for all residents.Total cost of proposed project is $120,000
Sutton Road, Gundaroo - 117583-21NSW-RTR

Phillips Creek Bridge Replacement
The project will upgrade the bridge at Phillips Creek on the Saraji Road. 
Ironbark Road, Yarrambat - 117584-21VIC-RTR
A number of issues are being addressed including road safety, improving the through traffic and bus school route and traffic management whilst also addressing the asset management strategy by renewing the road wearing course. This section of Ironbark Road accommodates the local primary school, the areas only cafe/restaurant and the local post office. It is a very busy precinct and also has the local school crossing on a busy road. There is limited on street parking and parents and cafe customers are frequently u-turning and undertaking dangerous manoeuvres to find parking for school pick up and dop off and to visit the cafe/post office. Parking, line marking and a wider road pavement will improve the safety of the area and reduce the illegal traffic movements. The area also need road drainage improvements to allow for on-street parking and to widen the road. the road pavement can also be improved with several failures and cracking. The bus stop will be set back and an entry and exit taper formalised to allow safer traffic flow.Works will include the construction of formal kerb and channel on both sides of the road, on-street parking, road widening a new asphalt seal and improve roadside drainage. Line marking and signage will also be improved.Total cost of proposed project is $380,000
