Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Burfords Hill Rd, Kenton Valley, - 117622-21SA-RTR
The seal on Burfords Hill Rd has reached the end of its useful life. Maintaining the aged seal has become a maintenance burden for Council, and the cracks are letting water through, which has compromised the pavement. Pavement defects such as potholes will also be addressed.Profile existing aged and oxidised spray seal and reinstate with a two coat spray seal, using a 14/7 mm mix of stones.Total cost of proposed project is $70,385
Beringbooding Road (Rural Road) - 117618-21WA-RTR
The road material on Beringbooding is both sandy and loose and during the current Harvest Period this caused serious problems and safety issues as it deteriorated quickly. These problems needed to be addressed as they occurred resulting in a high maintenance cost.Install 200mm thick 8 metre wide gravel on the road with any associated improvements such as culverts etc.Total cost of proposed project is $160,997
Sherrin Esplanade - 117586-21QLD-RTR
1. Road as gravel surfacing, and is eroded within wet season, annually requiring rectification. The road is also inundated by king tides. 2. There are not sufficient carpark spots along Charlotte St near Sherrin Esplanade intersection, where the hospitality businesses are operating; therefore, Sherrin Esplanade is an alternative to provide the needed additional carpark spots. 3. A Shared path/bikepath would minimise the capacity of Charlotte St for carpark and have safety concerns for cyclists if proposed between the carriage way and carpark. Sherrin Esplanade can provide the missing link between north and south of Charlotte St for cyclists.Complete upgrade works of Sherrin Esplanade including roadworks, shared path, car parking spaces and other infrastructure to connect to Adelaide St.Total cost of proposed project is $1,345,360
Poison Creek Road (rural Road) - 117587-21QLD-RTR
Vehicle safety, Risk of vehicles veering off the road to the creek at two locations: CH 3350 and CH 6150 where creeks are running.Installation of guardrail at two locations; 1. Location 1 Guardrail on the both sides of the road: from CH 3.235 km to CH 3.455Km 2. Location 2 Gaurdrail for the both sides of the road on culvert approaches; from CH 6.150 to CH6.173 and from CH 6.137Km to CH 6.114 KmTotal cost of proposed project is $153,402
Wicks Rd, Balhannah, - 117623-21SA-RTR

Prairie Road (Rural Road) - 117630-21QLD-RTR
In the wet weather the floodway washes out around the floodway and the gravel floodways wash away.Realign, build the road and construct concrete margins between Dinner Gully (125.850) and Station Creek (140.650) and extend the floodway at Station Creek approximately 45 metres each side of the floodway and install concrete margins to create better drainage and to stop the floodway from washing out around the floodway.Total cost of proposed project is $171,080
Old Highway, Narooma - 117634-21NSW-RTR
The current gravel seal was at end of life and required renewalPavement was renewed and bitumen seal constructedTotal cost of proposed project is $197,000
