Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bower Boundary Rd (Rural Rd) Bower, - 118467-21SA-RTR
Bower Boundary Rd is an unsealed category 3A road providing freight access to the numerous piggeries and adjoining primary production land . The road provides a general freight route between Goyder and Thiele Highways. Daily traffic of 40-60 vehicles. The existing surface has reached the end of its life with extensive sub grade break through, potholing and poor crossfall. The side drains require cleaning as they have silted up resulting in water pooling on the road surface.Reforming of existing road surface, importing and spreading of road base. Reshaping and cleaning of drains and culverts. The road specification is revised to a 7m width, 100mm pavement thickness and 3-4% crossfall.Total cost of proposed project is $136,282
Koonoona Rd (Rural Rd) Burra - 118469-21SA-RTR
Koonoona Rd is an unsealed Cat 2 road that is a local school bus route and provides freight access to the Princess Royal feedlot and adjoining primary production land. Daily traffic volumes 80-100 vehicles per day. The existing surface has reached end of life, extensive sub grade break through, potholing and poor crossfall. The side drains require cleaning as they have silted up resulting in water pooling on the road surface.Reforming of existing road surface, importing and spreading of road base. Reshaping and cleaning of drains and culverts. The road specification is to be revised to 8m width, 150mm pavement thickness and 3-4% crossfall.Total cost of proposed project is $357,164
Detour Road, North Wangaratta - 118481-21VIC-RTR
Existing bridge is a 3-span concrete bridge with existing concrete deck overlay. Deck overlay is failing and is a road safety concern. Existing bridge railing has been damaged in recent road accident, due to surface of deck overlay.The existing bridge deck overlay is to be removed along with all other structures above deck level and a new cast in-situ concrete deck slab laid with ThrieBeam guard rail and cyclist rail to be constructed. New bridge approaches 20m beyond the deck are to be constructed of deep lift asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $379,310

Road is rutted and running surface failing provide hazardous driving conditions and drivability.formation grading with Rollers and water truck to reform and compact the surface and reinstate road formation.
Pitherty Road (Rural Road) - 118478-21QLD-RTR
Rutting has damaged the running surface hindering travel flow and creating possible hazards for the travelling public.Formation grading with roller and water truck of existing gravel road to improve drivability and a firm compacted running surface.
