Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Rutting has damaged the running surface hindering travel flow and creating possible hazards for the travelling public.Formation grading with roller and water truck of existing gravel road to improve drivability and a firm compacted running surface.

Stormwater ponding on road way, infiltration of sealed surface causing pavement failure and potholes.Rehabilitation of pavement and kerb with a seal. Compact with roller, water truck and grader as well a concreting formworks and sealing.
Oxley Road (Katanning-Dumbleyung Road), Glencoe - 118335-21WA-RTR
This section of road is sealed and seriously needs potholes, rutting and correcting of low areas prior to re-sealing. Oxley Road (Katanning-Dumbleyung Road) will be part of the balance of program up until 2024 RTR program.Council proposes to top up the failed areas with gravel, stabilisation and mixing of the affected areas by a mechanical machine, final trim and seal which then will put this road back to its original condition.
Bookine Road (rural road) - 118447-21WA-RTR
Existing seal is badly potholed, uneven and has reached end of useful life.It is proposed to reseal the existing 7.2m seal for road length of 2.7 kilometres
Gingin Brook Road (rural road) - 118455-21WA-RTR
Overgrowth of vegetation along both sides of this road has created reduction in sight lines, vehicle damage, and drainage blockages is some areas.Both sides of full length of the road are to be verge mulched to provide appropriate sight line clearances and increased drainage access.Total cost of proposed project is $128,000
Gingin Brook Road (rural road) - 118456-21WA-RTR
Reseal of deteriorating section of road which services volumes of heavy traffic travelling between Brand Highway and Indian Ocean Drive and provides primary access to major industrial area for Gingin.It is proposed to reseal the existing 8 metre road for 3.25 kilometres.
