Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Rangers Valley Road, (rural road) - 118496-21NSW-RTR
Numerous pavements and sub-grade failures due excessive flooding during 2021 Natural Disaster. Heavy patching followed by resealing was required.The road will be have two coat bitumen spray seal with 14 mm and 7mm aggregates.
Waterloo Road (rural road) - 118497-21NSW-RTR
Road suffered from inconsistent widths and patching/seal treatments. Urgent intervention required to save base and seal layers to prevent further deterioration and water ingress.The road will be have two coat bitumen spray seal with 14 mm and 7mm aggregates.
Ross Ramsey Road (rural road) - 118746-21SA-RTR
The original gravel surface has deteriorated since resheeting thirty five years ago and is now back to the clay base which is unsafe during wet conditions.The road will be reconstructed, reshaped and 150mm of crushed road base material added to the existing surface.
Dog Fence Road (rural road) - 118747-21SA-RTR
The original surface has deteriorated since resheeting twenty years ago and has minimal road base material left, which is slippery during wet conditions.The road will be reconstructed, reshaped and 150mm of crushed road base material added to the existing surface.Total cost of proposed project is $169,573
Kerrs Road, Maddingley - 118975-22VIC-RTR
The road is highly trafficked with increasing maintenance requirements.Resheeting and associated worksTotal cost of proposed project is $190,596
Yendon Egerton Road, Yendon - 118973-22VIC-RTR
The road pavement is failingDrainage improvements. Sections of heavy patching (approx. 300m^2) in preperation for resealing Section of full rehabilitation (approx. 1800lm)Total cost of proposed project is $933,768
Steiglitz Street, Ballan - 118970-22VIC-RTR
The narrow existing seal is failing with defects developing. Ballan is experiencing significant growth with increasing traffic volumes and higher trade volumes to businesses.Rehabilitation of existing pavement, sealed surface from kerb to kerb, kerb outstands and pedestrian connectivity at the intersection of Fisken and Steiglitz Streets.Total cost of proposed project is $533,017
East Kurrajong Road, East Kurrajong - 118845-22NSW-RTR
Severe pavement failure comprising rutting, potholes, cracking and heaving.Rehabilitate a section between Whalan Road and No. 1040 East Kurrajong Road, East Kurrajong at chainage 0.814km.
Warrong Road (Rural Road) - 118974-22QLD-RTR
The pavement surface is reaching the end of its useful life with roughness increasing and pavement failures occurring.It is proposed to undertake pavement rehabilitation to maintain the road surfaces for a 0.74kms section of the Warrong RoadTotal cost of proposed project is $75,667
Old Farnley Road (Rural Road) - 118980-22VIC-RTR
Unsealed road that has been deteriorating and is not in sufficient condition to handle the increased traffic at the waste facility.Reconstruction of road to accommodate increased heavy vehicle and private traffic use of Waste Management Facility. Construction of additional road pavement.Total cost of proposed project is $80,000
