Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Hythe Street, Point Vernon - 119686-22QLD-RTR
This road is exhibiting a high frequency of pavement failures including rutting and cracking resulting in high levels of roughness.Road reconstruction including the removal of existing pavement, construction of new gravel pavement, bitumen resurfacing and sectional kerb replacement.Total cost of proposed project is $550,000
Northgate Drive, Springvale South - 119692-22VIC-RTR
Road surface was in poor condition. Severe cracks and pavement failures in several locations, High roughness and ruttingProject scope includes replacing damaged Kerb and channel along the section and road resurfacing with 2m edge plane, 60mm depth 20SI patching where required, and 40mm depth 10H wearing course over layTotal cost of proposed project is $232,745
Wentworth Road, Burwood - 119702-22NSW-RTR
Pavement Slab subsidence, major surface cracking allowing water ingress into subgrade and surface roughness.Concrete road pavement slab repairs and asphalt re-sheeting to rehabilitate pavement, improve ride safety and extend the life of the asset, including kerb and gutter repairs.Total cost of proposed project is $181,075
Kerry Road - 119699-22QLD-RTR
The extent of proposed roadworks on Kerry Road consists of narrow sealed road sections and is not adequate to current design standards. This extent of road also experience gravel shoulder wear from traffic. Overall the road pavement is in poor condition.Proposed road works include pavement reconstruction with subgrade stabilisation for parts of the project, stormwater assets upgrade, bitumen sealing and vegetation to achieve 7 metre wide road formation.Total cost of proposed project is $2,515,128
Kerry Road - 119704-22QLD-RTR
The extent of proposed roadworks on Kerry Road consists of narrow sealed road sections and is not adequate to current design standards. This extent of road also experiences gravel shoulder wear from traffic. Overall the road pavement is in poor condition.Proposed road works include pavement reconstruction with subgrade lime stabilisation for parts of the project, stormwater assets upgrade, bitumen sealing and vegetation to achieve 7 metre wide road formation.Total cost of proposed project is $1,390,000
Yeats Street, Castlemaine - 119707-22VIC-RTR
The current road is gravel with no constructed drainage, a new sealed road will be constructed to improve drainage, reduce maintenance and dust problems.A new sealed road will be constructed with concrete kerb and channel and underground drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $342,269
Glen Esk Road (Rural Road), - 119281-22TAS-RTR
This section of road was constructed with a pavement that was not built to cope with the current heavy intensive agricultural traffic as well as tourism traffic, the pavement is failing under the seal, lost its shape and potholing.The work involved includes some minor drainage work to provide a 5.5m wide sealed pavement within the road reserve. New gravel will be placed, compacted and sealed.
Bishopsbourne Road (Rural Road) - 119282-22TAS-RTR
This section was built with a narrow winding pavement and not built to cope with the heavy agriculture, bike riders and commuting traffic on this aeterial classed road, the pavement is too narrow and failing under the seal, breaking badly on the edges especially on the corners, lost its shape and breaking up.The work involved for this section include minor drainage in the narrow road reserve to provide a 5.5m wide sealed pavement. New gravel will be placed, compacted and sealed also improving corner alignment as much as possible.
