Francis Rd (Rural Road) - 119384-22VIC-RTR
Inadequate gravel depth resulting accessibility issues especially for heavy vehicles. Without resheeting, the formation would be damaged resulting high maintenance cost.Spot loads of fresh layer of gravel material to be added over a length of 1.620 km; not a continuous length.
Crutes North Road (Rural Road) - 119385-22VIC-RTR
Inadequate gravel depth resulting accessibility issues especially for heavy vehicles. Without resheeting, the formation would be damaged resulting high maintenance cost.A fresh layer of gravel material added, shaped and rolled to improve its traffic ability.
Merivale Road (Rural Road) - 119672-22WA-RTR
The road surface is nearing the end of its useful life, with cracking and minor potholes starting to appear. An upgrade to a sealed road is required to improve road safety and ensure that the road can continue to perform its function. New construction of road to 9.0m bitumenTotal cost of proposed project is $1,040,000
Telangutuk East Rocklands Road (Rural Road) - 119387-22VIC-RTR
Sealed road surface reached to intervention level due to bitumen oxidation. Cracking on road surface and stone loss due to drying of the bitumen.Crack sealing with jet patcher, then provide bituminous spray seal to stop water penetration to the pavement.
Victoria Valley Road (Rural Road) - 119389-22VIC-RTR
Sealed road surface reached to intervention level due to bitumen oxidation. Cracking on road surface and stone loss due to drying of the bitumen.Crack sealing with jet patcher, then provide bituminous spray seal to stop water penetration to the pavement.
Jackmans Road (Rural Road) - 119391-22VIC-RTR
Significant edge drop off due to loss of gravel on the shoulder. As a result safety issues on these 3.8 m wide sealed roads.Resheet gravel on both shoulders to a width of 2 m on either side to enable adequate width for passing traffic.
Racecourse Road (Rural Road) - 119687-22NSW-RTR
Worn gravel pavement with sections of subgrade exposedGravel Resheet
Ness's Lane (Rural Road) - 119681-22NSW-RTR
Worn gravel pavement with sections of subgrade exposedGravel Resheet
Helendoite Road (Rural Road) - 119690-22VIC-RTR
Helendoite Road bridge has been assessed, and it was determined it needed to be load limited to be safe, otherwise it would fail further due to the heavy cracking on the bridge. This bridge was used by heavy vehicles however with the load limit this is now not allowed. On top of this the harvest season is approaching and will also cause problems as farmers will not be able to use this route either. The work being proposed for this bridge is a bridge kit system which has a quick installation process, which includes upgrading the bridge from single carriageway to dual carriageway with an increased standard loading. This increases legal truck mass and truck axle loads for larger trucks and vehicles over the design life and increases overall safety for the community’s use.Total cost of proposed project is $630,863
Graphite Road, Manjimup - 119691-22WA-RTR
Underground drainage is in poor condition and insufficient in size to cope with regular rain events. The existing seal is in poor condition with potholes occurring regularly and old precast kerbing is cracked and dislodged in most places. The footpath that is located against the kerbing is now uneven. One section of the road has failed, likely due to a natural spring.Remove and replace with new all underground drainage pipes and pits. Excavate failure in the area of the spring and place geotextile and slotted drain coil in the excavation to drain the spring into the stormwater system and place suitable construction material in the excavation. Remove the existing pavement, kerbing and footpath and place a geotextile layer over the entire subgrade followed by imported gravel; compact the gravel and shape to the design crossfalls, place new kerbing and concrete footpath and an asphalt seal. Install signs and line marking as required.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
