Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Seal is over 10 years lod and requires reseal.Reseal program to rejuvenate and maintain the Level-of-Service(LoS) for Council roads.
Barkly Street, Beechworth - 120740-22VIC-RTR
Gravel road is high maintenance and causing significant dust issues for local residents.Place 100mm depth of crushed rock and then seal the surface.
Gum Creek Road (Rural Road) - 121088-22SA-RTR
Loose Material, Rutting and corrugations.Resheet 1.9km of road with new rubble. 150mm thick, 7m wide
Mchughes Rd (Rural Road) - 121086-22SA-RTR
Clay Patches within roadwayResheet road with new rubble. 1km section 7m wide. 150mm thick.
East West One (Rural Road) - 121084-22SA-RTR
Road has deteriorated with no rubble left. Clay Patches & water ponding on the surface.Reconstruct 4.2 km road with new rubble surface. 150mm thick 7m wide.
Finlay Road, Coomalie - 121087-22NT-RTR
This section of road is past lifespan on seal and requires reseal to ensure a safe maintainable road surface. Current Road surface is coming away and allowing for multiple pothole repairs in a year. Finlay Road is a Local Class 4 Type B and C type road with a power water catchment tank located on this road as well as a Dep[ot currently leased to Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation. This road regularly sees plant and truck traffic and is a priority to maintain safe access to the water site.Engaging local contractors to reseal of 0.9km Road surface of Finlay Road From the intersection of Coach Road to the end of Finlay Road.
Memorial Terrace, Adelaide River - 121089-22NT-RTR
A Section of Rad has subsided and requires rectification and the seal is due for resealing as part of the Road Maintenace Strategy. Memorial Terrace is Classified as an Urban Road Catergory B and houses multiple residents as well as the Adelaide River School. It also has increased traffic volume to tourism attractions located on the road including a caravan park and the Adelaide River War Cemetry.Rectification works to a subsided section of road and reseal of entire road length in line with road maintenance strategy
Weighbridge Road, Orroroo - 121091-22SA-RTR
The original heavy vehicle bypass has been realigned from Railway Terrace, Orroroo & North Terrace Orroroo to Railway Terrace and Weighbridge road Orroroo to reduce the impact of heavy vehicle traffic in residential and recreational areas and to reduce the number intersections along the route. Stage 1 of the project involved works along sections of both Weighbridge Road and Railway Terrace and as been completedRemoval of current sealed roads, realignment of the Weighbridge Road, Orroroo and RM Williams Way, Orroroo intersection and construction and sealing of 335 metres, comprising 3 separate sections that will link previously completed works (Stage 1 - purple highlights) on Weighbridge Road Orroroo and RM Williams Way Orroroo.Total cost of proposed project is $1,995,000
Eyre Highway Upgrade
This project involves upgrades that will widen, strengthen, and realign various sections of the Eyre Highway, from Port Augusta out of Iron Head towards the Western Australian border. Package A includes approx. 400km of pavement works and approx. 46km of shoulder sealing. Package B includes intersection upgrades, two new overtaking lanes, three new rest areas, and additional safety works.
