Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Rowans Road, Moorabbin - 103199-19VIC-RTR
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures and asphalt re-sheet is required. The works also include the construction of a footpath along the length of this section as well as drainage upgrade works. There will also be some traffic treatments such as kerb outstands and speed humps to provide indented parking.These works will include the reconstruction of the road pavement, drainage, vehicle crossings, footpaths and the following traffic improvements: A new school crossing and raised speed platform north of the Isabella Street Intersection; and Two raised speed platforms to provide pedestrian crossing points into Bricker Reserve.Total cost of proposed project is $1,201,208
Saundridge Road, Cressy (rural road) - 103159-19TAS-RTR
This section of road was constructed with a pavement that was not built to cope with current heavy traffic, the pavement is failing badly under the seal, lost its shape and is potholing.The works involve some minor drainage work to provide a 5.5m wide sealed pavement within the road reserve. New gravel will be placed, compacted and sealed.
Gipps Creek Road (rural road) - 103161-19TAS-RTR
Timber cross decking decayed and broken. Failed decking near abutments. Load limits required in near future if works are not carried out to replace bridge.Replace timber bridge and abutments with concrete structure.
Yerapin Boundary Road (rural road) - 103197-19WA-RTR
Severe potholing and rutting taking place on this section of road due to lack of gravel.Some preliminary verge clearing to facilitate works and then gravel resheeting to a depth of 150mm.
McGellin Road (rural road) - 103196-19WA-RTR
There are severe corrugations and blowouts on the road due to there being no gravel left on the surface.Some preliminary verge clearing to facilitate work and then gravel resheeting to a depth of 200mm.
Kwolyin South Road (rural road) - 103189-19WA-RTR
Severe potholing in this section of the road due to loss of gravel and also exposed rock on the surface due to lack of gravel.Some preliminary verge clearing to facilitate works and then gravel resheeting to a depth of 150mm, and 200mm in places of most damage.
Erikin South Road (rural road) - 103186-19WA-RTR
Severe potholing through salt affected areas, to preserve the seal that is present.Hot bitumen seal using 10mm stone.
