Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Bruce Rock East Road (rural road) - 103181-19WA-RTR
There is potholing due to gaps in the seal caused by salt affected area. This work patches up the potholes and preserves the seal that is present.Hot bitumen seal using 10mm stone.
Cumminin Road (rural road) - 103184-19WA-RTR
Severe potholing and loss of stone due to weathering causes danger to motorists and ongoing maintenance required.Hot bitumen seal using 10mm stone for various sections for a total of 2kms.
Bruce Rock-Corrigin Road (rural road) - 103183-19WA-RTR
Severe potholing caused by weather causing an unsafe surface.Resheeting affected areas with a hot bitumen seal using 10mm stone.
Carger Road (rural road) - 103182-19WA-RTR
Severe potholing and rutting on this section of road due to lack of gravel.Some verge clearing initially to facilitate gravel resheeting to a depth of 150mm.
Sheringa Beach Road (Rural Road) - 103133-19SA-RTR
Breakthrough of underlying rock, significant loss of finer material from surface resulting in stony and rough surface.Resheeting of section of road.Total cost of proposed project is $183,000
Old Coachman's Road (rural road) - 103162-19TAS-RTR
Timber is failing in bridge as it is approaching the end of its useful life, should be replaced within months.Replace timber bridge deck with long life concrete structure.
Sandy Flat Road, Orbost - 103200-19VIC-RTR
The current timber bridge has failed and been load limited at 2 tonne. This load limit has restricted access for primary producers residing on the South side of the bridge.The current two tonne load limited three span timber bridge is being upgraded to a three-span steel and concrete bridge. The new bridge will be constructed to current design code standards. This will allow the new bridge to cater for vehicles up to 68 tonne
Isisford Yaraka River Road - Rural Road - 103193-19QLD-RTR
Gravel had washed away through channel system, causing rutting and potholes.Import gravel and grade to Longreach Regional Council Transport Safety Regulations.
Granville Harbour Road, (Rural Road) - 103145-19TAS-RTR
Council staff and the public have identified a number of safety issues and high maintenance costs due to regular traffic movements and the increase in visitor/tourists in a variety of different vehicles(rvs, caravans, buses ) the lenght of the road is 9.1 kilometres. With the help of RTR in the past council have achieved to upgrade 4.5 klm of the road. Several sections including ,realignment, crests and poor line on sight corners have been identified for reconstruction.Road Widening, corner realignment, table drains and culvert construction , rehabilitation, re- sheeting grading sections of the road to apply a two coat seal, signage and guide posts.Total cost of proposed project is $350,405
Wellshot Street - Rural Road - 103191-19QLD-RTR
Existing seal and pavement is rutting and potholing and unsafe for road users.Full rehabilitation of pavement and seal.
