Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Jarvis Road is classified as a secondary freight route within Council Road Management Hierarchy. It is currently unsealed and as a result requires significant maintenance. The pavement depth is insufficient to accommodate large freight movements and requires additional depth and sealing to ensure it is fit for purpose and meets its intended useful life.Sealing 950m of exiting unsealed pavement to accommodate increased freight movements
Newman Rd, Charleston, SA - 103831-19SA-RTR
The pavement on Newman Rd in Charleston has failed, resulting in pot holes, ruts, and undulations. The road also no longer meets the needs of the growing community; Neman Rd services a new development and needs to be upgraded to a more urban standard.Box out existing failed pavement and reconstruct with crushed rock. Box out in-situ material and construct new pavement in crushed rock to widening Newman Rd. Construt new kerb, pit, pipes and underground stormwater. Seal the full width of Newman Rd with asphalt. Construct footpath along one side of Newman Rd.Total cost of proposed project is $576,494

Mawson Road, Saint Ives - 103850-19NSW-RTR
Section of the road is in a poor condition with several crocodile cracking, rutting and high roughness causing safety concerns to the road users. Council have received several request to improve the road and details investigation confirmed that pavement structure is required significant improvement to meet the level of service for the community.Reconstruct the pavement structure between Mona Vale Road and Murchison Road. Excavate total of 100mm thick of existing pavement and reconstruct with 60mm of AC20 and 40mm of AC14 as wearing course. Project includes replacement of the damaged kerb & gutter, drainage pits & reinstatement to the existing line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $664,800
Lesley Crescent, Crafers, SA - 103826-19SA-RTR
The seal on Lesley Crescent has reached the end of its useful life. Maintaining the aged seal has become a maintenance burden for Council, and the cracks are letting water through, which will compromise the pavement over time.Profile existing aged and oxidised spray seal and reinstate with a two coat spray seal, using a 10/5 mm mix of stones.
Wilpena Tce, Aldgate, SA - 103823-19SA-RTR
The seal on Wilpena Rd has reached the end of its useful life. Maintaining the aged seal has become a maintenance burden for Council, and the cracks are letting water through, which will compromise the pavement over time.Profile 30 mm of existing aged and oxidised seal and reinstate with 40 mm new asphalt, using an asphalt mix which is high in recycled content.
