Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Section of the road is in a poor condition with several crocodile cracking, rutting and high roughness causing safety concerns to the road users. Council have recieved several request to improve the road and details investigation confirmed that pavement structure is required significant improvement to meet the level of service for the community.Reconstruct the pavement structure between Alice Street and Burns Road. Excavate total of 150mm thick of existing pavement and reconstruct with 100mm of AC28 and 50mm of AC14 as wearing course. Project includes reinstatment to the existing line marking and Road Pavement Markings as part of the reconstruction works.Total cost of proposed project is $442,925
Calala Lane, Calala, - 103816-19NSW-RTR
Pavement deterioration over time has resulted in a rough and heavily patches road surface. The road is also relatively narrow with no shoulders.Widen and rehabilitate existing pavement. Overlay, then seal the new pavement.
Bligh Street, North Tamworth - 103819-19NSW-RTR
Rehabilitate approximately 400m of failed pavementStabilise and deepen the existing pavement within the travel lanes, and stabilise the parking lanes. Seal new pavement for full width of the road.Total cost of proposed project is $643,911
Top Beverley Road (Rural Road) - 103821-19WA-RTR
This road is too narrow for the type of traffic carting hay through to the York Hay processing plant. The culverts are to be widened and vegetation removed to allow for this road to widened and sealed to seven metres.Existing road to be reconstructed and sealed to seven metres from Straight Line Kilometre 3.65 to 6.00.

Deterioration of asset through standard road usageConstruction of a new two coat sealed road, the section of road is 800 meters in length with an average pavement width of 5.5 meters.Total cost of proposed project is $116,426

Deterioration of asset through standard road usageConstruction of a new two coat sealed road, the section of road is 1 kilometre in length with an average pavement width of 5.5 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $130,458
Chester Street, Surrey Hills - 103762-19VIC-RTR
The road pavement and kerb and channel has reached the end of its useful life. Drainage improvements are required to protect the road pavement.It is proposed to reconstruct the pavement where required, resurface, provide new kerb and channel, upgrade footpath where required, new vehicle crossings and drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $202,991
