Project description

Section of the road is in a poor condition with several crocodile cracking, rutting and high roughness causing safety concerns to the road users. Council have recieved several request to improve the road and details investigation confirmed that pavement structure is required significant improvement to meet the level of service for the community.

Reconstruct the pavement structure between Alice Street and Burns Road. Excavate total of 150mm thick of existing pavement and reconstruct with 100mm of AC28 and 50mm of AC14 as wearing course. Project includes reinstatment to the existing line marking and Road Pavement Markings as part of the reconstruction works.

Total cost of proposed project is $442,925
