Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Erskine Park Road & Bennett Road Upgrade – Penrith Council
Upgrade of Erskine Park Road & Bennett Road Intersection.
Smithfield Road Upgrade – Fairfield Council
Upgrade to Smithfield Road between Elizabeth Drive and Polding Street to a continuous 2-lane 2-way road. This includes improvements to a number of intersections including the realignment of Richards Road at Smithfield Road.
The Northern Road Intersections Upgrade – Penrith Council
The Project includes upgrade of the Northern Road Intersections at Great Western Highway and Derby Street and Bringelly Road/Caddens Road intersection. The scope of the work includes: Increasing right turn capacity on Great Western Highway, westbound at The Northern Road Increasing right turn capacity on The Northern Road, north bound at Great Western Highway Median adjustment and lane widening on the Northern Road southbound at Great Western Highway Widening Derby Street approaches to The Northern Road to enable dedicated right turn lanes A new roundabout at the intersection of Bringelly Road and Caddens Road Minor land acquisition Removal of parking and/or peak hour parking restrictions on The Northern Road and on Derby Street approaches
Badgally Road Upgrade
Upgrade of Badgally Road between Eagle Vale Drive and North Steyne Road, including: widening a section of Badgally Road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes installation of kerb and guttering installation of directional signage central concrete medians provision of indented bus bay off road shared pathway new traffic control signals at the intersection of Badgally Road with Clydesdale Drive and Badgally Road with North Steyne Road
Nottingham Road, Temora - 104893-19NSW-RTR
Defective pavement and drainage infastructureDemolition and reconstruction of pavement, kerb and gutter and street furniture.
Maxwells Road (Rural Road) - 104892-19NSW-RTR
Road capacity and pavement strengthUpgrade of existing gravel road to sealed pavement accomodating HML heavy vehicles.Total cost of proposed project is $1,720,320
Philip Street - Gladstone
The Philip Street - Gladstone project involves widening of approximately 900 metres of Philip Street (also known as Gladstone-Benaraby Road) from two lanes to a four lane divided roadway. The project will also include:   - required transport infrastructure and access to the Gladstone Region Integrated Community Services Precinct;   - installation of east and westbound on-road bicycle and off-road pedestrian facilities;   - pavement drainage upgrades;   - new signalised intersection at the Philip Street and Reef Street intersection;   - improved street lighting; and   - acceleration lanes at Trinity Place and Hibiscus Avenue.
