The existing roadway will be excavated down to subgrade, sub-base and base material of appropriate Californian Bearing Ratio (CBR) shall be imported and compacted. A concrete road running surface shall then be poured and allowed to cure. Traffic shall be diverted down Jetty Street to maintain the functionality of the wharf during construction. Appropriate public notification to relevant businesses shall be undertaken to minimise disruption. Project is in final scoping stages and will be completed during September 2020. Construction is underway and will be completed in September 2020.
