Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Allison Street, Julia Creek - 105315-19QLD-RTR
During wet season storm-water draining of the Road surface is draining into crevices between the grated inlet pits/lintels/kerbing and the Road pavement, thus in places undermining the Road pavement, also the grates are damaged by age and weathering beyond repair. Additionally; the the new inlet grate will allow maintenance access to the storm water drop structure.Removal of existing lintel replace with pre-cast lintels. Removal of existing apron and replace with precast apron. Removal of existing inlet grates replace with say class D Hinged bike safe galvanised (or similar material) grate. Replace 1m of existing kerbing either side of the grated inlet and transition new lintel. adjust the level of the intake to match the existing driving surface, reinstated disturbed pavement and driving surface. Total number of lip in line replacements 2

Hawthorne Street, Roma - 105054-19QLD-RTR
The pavement of this section of Hawthorne Street is in poor condition with only a limited service life remaining and is located in a high stress environment in the Roma CBDIt is proposed to provide an asphalt surface for this section of Hawthorne Street, RomaTotal cost of proposed project is $233,761
Kimbler Road, Roma - 105044-19QLD-RTR
An unsealed section of this road provides entrance to recreation facilities (motor-x and Ironbark speedway) which causes dust pollution for the users of the facilities as well as access is impacted in wet weatherIt is proposed to bitumen seal a 521 metre section of this road
Creek Street, Roma - 105043-19QLD-RTR
Due to the small length of road and there is few other unsealed Council roads in close proximity, maintenance costs are high due to dedicated mobilisation required to undertake maintenance of this road. This road provides entrance to a major sporting oval with dust pollution causing issues with users of the facility as well as residents within close proximity of the facility.It is proposed to seal the 180 metre section to the sporting facilityTotal cost of proposed project is $213,398
