Project description

Hamersley Street has inadequate horizontal geometry to appropriately cater for tow passing heavy vehicles (on a bend) as well as a rail crossing with poor vertical alignment causing vehicles to bottom out on the rail line, both causing a safety concern for road users.

To widen Hamersley Street and modify road levels either side of the rail crossing to improve both horizontal and vertical geometry.

Total cost of proposed project is $228,979
