Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Reconstruct and widen Shea Road at the sharp narrow bend on the crest of the hill. Changing the horizontal and vertical alignment together with delineation enhancement

Install vehicle activated signs (VAS), alignment warning signs, and additional delineation including chevron alignment markers (CAMs), guideposts, and raised reflective pavement markers (RRPMs)
Mundoora Road, (rural road) - 105918-19SA-RTR
The seal is currently in poor condition and showing signs of deterioration due to the age of the surface.We will be applying a two coat 14/7mm C170 seal, and this treatment will extend the life of the asset and improve the safety of current road users.Total cost of proposed project is $98,000
Jingellic Road (Rural Road) - 105897-19NSW-RTR
Non compliant safety fence on wooden posts.Remove non compliant fencing and reinstate with compliant guardrail system at 12 locations over the 4.1km distance.
Murray Street Prospect - 104825-19SA-RTR
Road camber has exceeded acceptable levels, creating stormwater issues, vehicle scraping at inverts and kerb heights are non-compliant. Road widening is required to improve cross fall, kerb alignment must be adjusted to improve road camber and improve stormwater and inverts must be reconstructed.Adjust kerb alignment and height, road widening, improve stormwater flow, eliminate vehicle scraping.Total cost of proposed project is $245,000
Cunderin-Wyalkatchem Road (Rural Road) - 103644-19WA-RTR
Existing concrete box culvert is severly corroded and is of an insufficient lenght for the existing road widthRemove existing culvert and replace with new concrete box culvert to the required width. Reinstate pavement / bitumen seal after culvert replacement
Martin Road (Rural Road) - 103643-19WA-RTR
Bitumen sealed floodway paving is failing causing excessive pot holes. Concrete edge bean has been undermined by water scourRepladce exisiting gravel pavement with new gravel, cement stabilise and apply new bitumen seal. Repair edge beam and install rock armour to eliminate water scout
Mount Mitchell Road (Rural Road) - 105919-19NSW-RTR
Single lane unsealed road has badly deformed and wash-out due to its topography and traffic, resulting in reduced safety for road users with very poor ride condition.Provide a sprayed bitumen seal pavement of 6 metres and installation of safety barriers. Install of rip rap rocks for erosion control.
Mckays Road, (rural road) - 105913-19WA-RTR
Road presents with several large sand holes and pavement layer has deteriorated to less than 50mm. Maintenance grading during dry conditions creates large patches of lamination breakout creating worse conditions. Several complaints have arisen from the condition of this section of road and the Shire has considered it enough of a priority to gravel sheet this section.Gravel resheet section with 100mm of gravel, water bind and compact.Total cost of proposed project is $72,552
Dewar Road, (Rural Road) - 105920-19WA-RTR
Existing gravel sheeting is wearing thin and severe corrugation is an unsafe surface to drive on. Lamination and surface breakout will also be rectified at the same time.Form up existing structure and import 100mm of gravel. Water bind material and compact. Install guide posts as required.Total cost of proposed project is $76,826
