Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Baddleys Lane, Tara District - 064115-16QLD-RTR
Existing road condition assessed as very poor condition. Kerb and channel is also in very poor condition resulting in further damage to pavement during wet weather events.Proposed scope includes full reconstruction of Sealed Pavement to the existing standard, and demolition and replacement of kerb and channel including any associated drainage structures.Total cost of proposed project is $350,000
Bundi Road Horse Creek Bridge, Wandoan District - 064116-16QLD-RTR
The existing bridge condition has been assessed as very poor due to rotting, termite activity, and failure of multiple components throughout. The existing bridge is currently load limited to 5t and is 3.7m width, insufficient for use by the volume and composition of traffic recorded for this road segment.The works proposed include the replacement of the existing bridge with a modern concrete bridge, or equivalent, capable of transporting modern size vehicles of increased load and width than that catered to by the existing structure.Total cost of proposed project is $2,027,000
Commissioner Street Cooma - 064117-16NSW-RTR
This is a centrally located intersection close to the CBD and local primary schools. The current pavement is rough and distorted requiring constant maintenance. The intersection is large with poor control of both traffic and pedestrian traffic resulting in inadequate separation of vehicular and pedestrian traffic particularly at school start and end times.Proposed work will achieve Control of traffic with Kerbs extensions and medians, to clarify traffic lanes and turning paths. Relocation of pedestrian’s away from the centre of the intersection with relocated pedestrian crossings and raised borders to ensure compliance. Improvements to the pavement with a min 35mm Asphalt Correctional Layer. Reinstatement and upgrading of pavement markings and signage.Total cost of proposed project is $367,743
Arubial Road, Miles District - 064118-16QLD-RTR
Road is used by Primary Industry heavy traffic with high intensity during harvest and other seasonal events. The existing road in the project area consists of 4m bitumen for a short section and unsealed gravel pavement for the remainder. Due to the narrow width of the sealed section, and the unsuitability of unsealed pavement to heavy traffic during wet weather, this section of road is unsuitable for use by the current traffic volume and composition.Reconsturction and widening of the existing sealed pavement to WDRC Rural Collector standard, and construction of sealed pavement in the exisitng unsealed section, both to WDRC Rural Collector Standard of 8m seal and 9m formation.Total cost of proposed project is $780,000
Zeller Street, Chinchilla District - 064119-16QLD-RTR
Development and growth has resulted in increased traffic volumes recorded for this road segment. To accomdate this and future growth the road must be widened and associated stormwater infrastructure upgraded.Proposed scope includes widening and rehabilitation of road pavement and kerb and channel between Windmill Road and Mackie St
Chester Court, Orelia - 064120-16WA-RTR
Rehabilitation of pavement surface and pavement widening to allow waste truck turning movement. Existing situation waste truck unable to turn without damaging edge of pavement.Road widening of pavement and resurfacing of cul de sacTotal cost of proposed project is $77,495
Wilson Street, Kalgoorlie - 064121-16WA-RTR
Existing road pavement has reached the end of its usefull life and is potholed and misshapen. Excessive maintenance is required to maintain the road in a safe condition.Excavate existing pavement, replace with new roadbase and Asphalt seal.
Egan Street, Kalgoorlie - 064122-16WA-RTR
Existing road pavement has reached the end of its useful life and is potholed and misshapen. Excessive maintenance is required to maintain the road in a safe condition.Reconstruction. Excavate existing pavement/subgrade to required depth, place and compact new roadbase and asphalt seal.
Lake Douglas Road (Rural Road) - 064123-16WA-RTR
The Lake Douglas Road generally is too narrow, drainage is uncontrolled, has a number of blind crests and is has little or no road base (making it very slippery when wet).Lower crests, widen road, form road (including table drains) and gravel sheet.Total cost of proposed project is $587,652
Lawes Street - 064124-16NSW-RTR
Pavement is old and in poor condition.Reconstruction of pavement and kerbs between Melbourne Street and Banks Street, East MaitlandTotal cost of proposed project is $870,000
