Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Winston Street, Dalby District - 064101-16QLD-RTR
The existing condition rating is very poor and has been rated as 7. Due to the deteriorated seal and poor condition rating the above section of Churchill Street has been scheduled for reconstruction.The planned work entails reconstruction to Council's Urban Access Standard, 8.0m formation & 8.0m sealTotal cost of proposed project is $135,000
Riverglen Road, Tara District - 064102-16QLD-RTR
Riverglen road is a Rural Collector road and classified as a Local Road of Regional Significance(LRRS). The existing pavement is unsealed and assessed as being in very poor condition. Due to the unsealed road surface, poorProposed scope is to: Reconstruct the road pavement, including overlay and widening of pavement to 8m formation width, and construction of 6m width sealed surface.Total cost of proposed project is $750,000
Nudley Forest Road Bridge, Dalby District - 064103-16QLD-RTR
A level two structure inspection report rated the condition of the bridge CS4, meaning the structure is in an unsafe condition. Based on this report the bridge has been scheduled to be refurbishedBased on the recomended maintainence actions made in the most recent Level 2 bridge inspection report, the bridge will be refurbished with a number of components to be strengthed or replaced. Components to be strengthed or replaced include deck, headstocks, and piles. Safety improvements will be made to signage and guardrail.
Lower Jinghi Road Bridge, Dalby District - 064107-16QLD-RTR
A level two structure inspection report rated the condition of the bridge CS4, meaning the structure is in an unsafe condition. Snowy River Ave (Stage 1) - 064109-16NSW-RTR
The road pavement has poor drainage and the seal is distorted and cracked and is failing in a number of location across the intersection.Redesign of road to improve parking and vehicle access. Installation of new kerb and guttering Replacement of sub base and seal. Improve Footpaths and pedestrian access to the area.Total cost of proposed project is $1,692,093
Glenern Road, Tara District - 064110-16QLD-RTR
Existing road segment is sealed to a width of 4m. Due to this narrow width opposing vehicles must leave the sealed pavement to pass each other. This road segment is part of a school bus route, raising safety concerns when school busses are required to leave sealed pavement during periods of wet weather.Proposed scope includes: Widening of formation and seal to 8m and 6m respectively, including extensions to drainage structures in the road segment as necessary.Total cost of proposed project is $800,000
Drillham School Road, Miles District - 064111-16QLD-RTR
The road segment included in the project scope provides direct access to the Drillham Primary State School. As such this section is a school bus route and used heavily by commuting school children and parents. The existing road is unsealed and makes no allowance for pedestrian traffic, significantly limiting access to the school during wet weather events.Construction of sealed bitumen pavement to Rural Collector standard of 8m sealed width with an allowance for pedestrian traffic, and an intersection realignment at the intersection of Drillham School Road and DrillhamTotal cost of proposed project is $390,000
Dixon Street, Dalby District - 064112-16QLD-RTR
The existing road condition rating is very poor and has been rated as 7. Due to the pavement failures and deteriorated seal the above section of Dixon Street has been scheduled for bitumen reconstruction.The planned work entails reconstruction to Council's Rural Collector Standard, formation width 9.0m & Seal 8.0mTotal cost of proposed project is $500,000
Dalby-Nungil Road, Dalby District - 064113-16QLD-RTR
The existing condition of the road has been rated as very poor. Based on the road condition and the existing width of the sealed road being inadequate for an approved road train route the above sections of the Dalby Nungil Road has been scheduled for reconstruction. Full width sections of the Dalby Nungil road were reconstructed under the approved works for NDRRA (2013 flood damage). The above work locations links the flood damage works to created a continuous section of newly reconstructed road.The work entails reconstructing a rural collector road to Councils current standards, taking the road from a substandard 6.0m bitumen seal road with a condition rating of 7 out of 10 to a 7.0m wide bitumen seal with a 8.0m formationTotal cost of proposed project is $700,000
Churchill Street, Dalby District - 064114-16QLD-RTR
The existing condition rating is very poor and has been rated as 6. Due to the deteriorated seal and poor condition rating the above section of Churchill Street has been scheduled for reconstruction.The planned work entails bitumen reconstruction to Council's Urban Access Standard, 8.0m formation & 8.0m seal.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
