Project description

The existing condition of the road has been rated as very poor. Based on the road condition and the existing width of the sealed road being inadequate for an approved road train route the above sections of the Dalby Nungil Road has been scheduled for reconstruction. Full width sections of the Dalby Nungil road were reconstructed under the approved works for NDRRA (2013 flood damage). The above work locations links the flood damage works to created a continuous section of newly reconstructed road.

The work entails reconstructing a rural collector road to Councils current standards, taking the road from a substandard 6.0m bitumen seal road with a condition rating of 7 out of 10 to a 7.0m wide bitumen seal with a 8.0m formation

Total cost of proposed project is $700,000
