Project description

Existing road segment is sealed to a width of 4m. Due to this narrow width opposing vehicles must leave the sealed pavement to pass each other. This road segment is part of a school bus route, raising safety concerns when school busses are required to leave sealed pavement during periods of wet weather.

Proposed scope includes: Widening of formation and seal to 8m and 6m respectively, including extensions to drainage structures in the road segment as necessary.

Total cost of proposed project is $800,000
