Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Collins Street, Bencubbin - 053166-14WA-RTR
The road surface is very uneven due to the ingress of tree roots.For the entire 0.25 kilometres the existing running surface will be stripped and tree roots removed. Reconstruction will include new carriageway 10.0 metres wide and 200 millimetres thick. New gravel will be blended with existing gravel, spread, water bound and compacted to achieved the required surface. A 14 millimetre primer seal will be applied to the finished carriageway.
Cambridge Avenue Upgrade - Planning
The Project will deliver a Final Business Case for the upgrade of Cambridge Avenue with a new alignment linking Campbelltown Road and Glenfield Road in Sydney's South West.
Appin Road - St Johns Road Intersection Upgrade
The project will widen both carriageways of Appin Road at the St Johns Road intersection from two to three lanes in each direction, widen St Johns Road into the median to provide a further two right turn lanes into Appin Road northbound, and a separate left turn lane onto Appin Road southbound. The project will also include a dedicated cycle lane leading south through the intersection.
South West Sydney Roads - Planning
The project will develop Final Business Cases for critical road upgrades in South West Sydney including Hume Highway, Cowpasture Road, Camden Valley Way and Menangle Road to support housing growth in the Greater Macarthur Growth Area and the South West Growth Area. The business cases will identify upgrades needed to address congestion, improve road safety and enhance accessibility.
Western Sydney Roads - Planning 
The project will develop Final Business Cases for three projects in Western Sydney:- Great Western Highway/Parker Street,- The Northern Road, Borrowdale to Londonderry; and- Werrington Arterial Stage 2 – St Marys to Marsden Park. These upgrades would support the Western Parkland City and address a series of upgrades required in the region to support housing development and flood evacuation routes.
Coxs River Road Upgrade
This project will realign and widen the Great Western Highway for approximately 2.4 kilometres and include a grade-separated interchange at Coxs River Road.
Eva Valley Access Road - 053167-14NT-RTR
The road is of gravel structure with corrugation, pot holes and wash outs from constant traffic over the dry season.Maintenance grade to repair road to a suitable and safer gravel road for traffic.
Nelson Bay Road - Williamtown to Bobs Farm
This project will realign the two-lane, two-way Nelson Bay Road with upgrades to intersections at the eastern (Bobs Farm) and western (Williamtown) ends as well as an upgrade to the Lemon tree Passage connection. The design will enable the duplication of the alignment in the future should funding become available.
South West Rocks Road - 053169-14NSW-RTR
Current road pavement is in a highly variable condition with subgrade and pavement failures creating safety issues.Works proposed include deep pavement reconstruction, stabilising of existing pavement, widening where appropriate and reseal or asphalt overlay to create a more uniform travel surfaceTotal cost of proposed project is $520,000
Dixons Long Point Crossing – Planning
The project will undertake planning for a bridge over the Macquarie River at Dixons Long Point, including road approaches.
