Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Lockhart River Mission Road, Lockhart River - 053173-14QLD-RTR
The existing creek crossings at Tutu Creek and Little Wachee creek are frequently inundated and impassible for much of the year. Additionally these creek crossing are unsafe with vehicles frequently becoming stuck or damaged.Upgrade of creek crossings. This includes raising the existing road, construction of causeways and installation of stormwater pipes underneath road to provide improved accessTotal cost of proposed project is $202,920
Truro Bypass
This project will deliver a bypass of Truro on the Sturt Highway, to improve road safety and productivity of the national network, and to improve the regional connection between Adelaide and the Riverland for freight, tourism and local commuters. It complements works being undertaken as part of the Renmark to Gawler Roads of Strategic Importance corridor.
Great Western Highway Upgrade (sections between Katoomba and Lithgow)
Flinders Link
The Flinders Link project will extend existing Tonsley passenger rail line to the Flinders Medical Centre, works include: A 650 metre extension of the Tonsley rail line, linking the Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders University Precinct to the rail network, including 520 metres of elevated single track over Sturt Road, Laffer's Triangle and Main South Road. Removal of the existing Tonsley Station and construction of a new station station adjacent to the Flinders Medical Centre. An integrated shared pedestrian/cycle path adjacent the rail line.
Metro Intersection Upgrade Program - Grand Junction Road/Hampstead Road Intersection Upgrade
The project includes an upgrade of the intersection at Grand Junction Road and Hampstead Road including construction of a right-turn lane on Grand Junction West.
Oaklands Crossing Grade Separation
The project included the construction of a rail underpass extending approximately 400m to the east and west of the Oaklands Park level crossing, modifications to road junctions along Morphett Road and Diagonal Road, a grade separation of the Marino Rocks Greenway pedestrian and cycling shared use path at Morphett Road, increased pedestrian accessibility along and across the rail corridor and to the train station and new Oaklands train station of 160 metres in length to cater for increased train length and to manage patronage growth on the Seaford line.
South Road Upgrade (Darlington) Planning
A planning study was undertaken to upgrade South Road at Darlington, including grade separation of the intersection of South Road and Sturt Road.
Adelaide and Regional Rail Network Extensions - Planning
The project will deliver planning studies for outer metropolitan and regional passenger rail service extensions. This will include development of new corridors and reactivation of closed corridors.
Adelaide Northern Growth Areas - Planning
The project will deliver planning, technical and cost investigations for transport network improvements in Adelaide's northern growth areas.
Main South Road Upgrade – Myponga to Cape Jervis
The Project will deliver critical safety improvement works along Main South Road between Myponga and Cape Jervis.
