Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Murray Basin Freight Rail Project
The project involves improvements to the Murray Basin rail network in northwest Victoria aimed at addressing key operational issues and optimising the standard and broad-gauge lines.
Garfield Road East Upgrade
The project will provide a critical upgrade of Garfield Road East between Windsor Road, Box Hill and Piccadilly Street, Riverstone so that it is able to remain a viable flood evacuation route for the region. This upgrade will also improve housing and employment growth within the area.
Orallo Road (Rural Road) - 053187-14QLD-RTR
There is poor alignment of the intersection at Orallo Road and Dargal RoadIt is proposed to realign the intersection at Orallo Road and Dargal Road to improve road safety
Lyell Highway – Granton to New Norfolk
The project will deliver upgrades to the Lyell Highway, which is a 248km road corridor located between Granton to the north of Hobart and Strahan on the west coast of Tasmania.

Laneway is an unsealed formed track, 2210m2.Reform and chip seal.
Lane Six, Tennant Creek - 127062-23NT-RTR
Laneway is an unsealed formed track, 220m long 6.5m wide totaling 1430m2.Reform and chip seal.
Lane six, Tennant Creek - 127063-23NT-RTR
Laneway is an unsealed formed track, 200m long, 6.5m wide totaling 1300m2.Reform and chip seal.
Einasleigh Road, Forsayth - 127064-23QLD-RTR
Existing seal wearing surface is starting to deterioration and causing rough driving on the bridge.Resealing and Asphalt work of 75 mm thick in 150 m long and 5.20 m wide
Seabird Road, Seabird - 127047-23WA-RTR
This entry road from Indian Ocean Drive to the Seabird township was sealed many years ago and now experienced increased pitting and edge breakups.It is proposed to apply a 10mm aggregate S45R reseal to the road to extend the life of the asset and provide a smoother, safer drive to residents and tourists entering/exiting the town.
Ledge Point Road, Ledge Point - 127046-23WA-RTR
This sealed road was widened 10 years ago and now the original seal has deteriorated with increase pitting and breaking up along the join with the seal widening.It is proposed to apply a 10mm agrgregate SR5R reseal to the entire road width to extend the original seal and lock and and maintain the seal widening.
