Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Cooke Street Ext, Kingston SE - 127176-24SA-RTR
The current unsealed road lies between 2 sealed roads (Cooke Street and Pinks Beach Road). The land to the east of Cooke Street Ext has been developed with many blocks used for residential purposes. Traffic Count data has confirmed a large rise in daily users - 82.7 cars per day in 2019 to 121.2 per day in 2024. The road requires extensive maintenance grading 3 or 4 times a year due to traffic volume while dust in the summer and drier months is an issue.This project aims to seal a 2.46 km section of unsealed road that runs between 2 sealed roads. This project will also include line marking, installation of guideposts and updated signage.
Gnornbup Terrace, Bremer Bay - 127645-24WA-RTR
Construct and seal existing unsealed parallel parking area opposite roadhouse. Replace failed kerbing sections and apply an asphalt overlay to full extent.
Roberts Street, Bremer Bay - 127647-24WA-RTR
Reconstruct unsuitable sections to correct crossfall and install kerbing to direct water away from driveways. Apply asphalt overlay to full extent.
Smuts Road (Rural Road) - 127921-24WA-RTR
The gravel is wearing thin on this portion of the road. Heavy corrugations forming in summer and potholes/drainage issues in the winter months. Washing of gravel over two winter seasons has been noted. This is also a school bus route.Vegetation management, renewed drainage and shoulders and gravel re-sheet.
Old Richmond Road (Rural Road) - 127910-24QLD-RTR
This road becomes boggy when wet making it impassable for motorists.Formation and gravel resheeting and bitumen seal of approximately 2.5 km long and 6.5 m wide. Funding is 50% RTR and 50% TIDS (Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme).Total cost of proposed project is $880,000
Strathstewart Road (Rural Road) - 127934-24QLD-RTR
In wet weather the floodway is impassable.Construction of a new floodway 70 m long x 6 m wide will improve the flood resilience and provide safer access for motorists. Funding is 50% RTR and 50% TIDS (Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme).Total cost of proposed project is $100,000
Red Lane (Rural Road) - 127631-24NSW-RTR
Erosion of the topsoil. Degraded road pavement causes safety issues for motorists. Road needs grading and gravel re-sheeting.Grading of road, pavement re-sheeting required.
