Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Goonyella Road, Moranbah - 133920-25QLD-RTR
The works aim to improve safety and traffic flow.- Widening of the existing Goonyella Road to achieve the required geometry. - Construction of an approximately 170 m extension of Goonyella Service Road. - Modification and constructing new intersections and accesses along Goonyella Road between Curtin Street and Industrial Avenue. - Supply and installation of 280 mm unbound Subtype 2.1 base for Goonyella Road widening. - Supply and installation of 250 mm unbound Subtype 2.1 base for Goonyella Service Road. - Installation of a new 375 mm diameter RCP under the new Goonyella Service Road access. - Installation of kerb and channel and improved roadside drainage. - Installation of concrete protection for underground electrical assets where required. - Relocation of the existing water truck fill point (standpipe) to the south-western side of Goonyella Road. - Installation of a 200 mm diameter pipe teeing into an existing 250 mm diameter PVC main. - Construction of a new concrete plinth and hardstand for trucks to park on adjacent to the new fill point. The project's outstanding balance is being funded through Isaac Regional Council's budget.Total cost of proposed project is $3,720,000

Hines Hill North Road (Rural Road) - 133577-25WA-RTR
Drainage culverts failing due to salt ingress.Remove and replace Culverts. The 5 section culvert will be replaced with 5 x 600 mm HDPE pipes, 5 pipes with 3 pipes in a triple precast 600 headwall and 2 pipes in a double 600 precast headwall. The 2 section culvert will be replaced with 2 x 900 mm HDPE pipes, 2 pipes with both pipes in a double 900 precast headwall. Total pipe schedule: 600mm pipes – 10 lengths of 6 metres long each 900mm pipes – 4 lengths of 6 metres long each

Lack of road structure and surface material. Gravel re-sheeting.
Ruffy-Terip Road (Rural Road) - 133873-25VIC-RTR
Sections of the road pavement has deteriorated and failed causing depressions, breakdown of surface and excessive roughness.Identified sections of road pavement (approximately 1 km) will be pulverised to a depth of 100mm, additional pavement material will be introduced and compacted, shoulders and drains reformed, with 2 coat seal and line marking reinstated.
