Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Yan Yean Road, Doreen - 060345-15VIC-RTR
Significant pavement failure for the whole road section outlined. Pavement investigation suggested the pavement be rehabilitated with full depth reconstruction, including stabilisation of the subgrade.Full depth pavement rehabilitation, including cement stabilisation of the subgrade. Application of a sprayed seal, (SAMI Seal - Strain Alleviating Membrane Interlayer) followed by a final wearing course.Total cost of proposed project is $323,982
Mongans Lane (Rural Road) - 060346-15VIC-RTR
Water penetration causing road subsidence due to low section of road. Wearing surface due for resealing as per cyclic asset inspection.Pavement stabilisation and major patching followed by resealing at an average width of 4.3 m over a distance of 325m.
Ranken Road (Tennant Creek - Rural) - 060347-15NT-RTR
The Ranken Road is used by many pastoral proprieties and indigenous communities. The black soil sections are below natural surface level and out of shape and impassable in the wet season, this section has the most complaints in restricting access in the wet season. Gravel resheeting will improve access and safety.Gravel Resheeting between chainages 55.28 to 59.28 and chainage 61.29 to 71.03 kilometres.
Ranken Road (Tennant Creek - Rural) - 060348-15NT-RTR
The Ranken Road is extensively used by the heavy vehicles in the support of pastoral proprieties and aboriginal communities. The Ranken road is black soil formed and gravel, all creeks crossing and floodways in the wet season are difficult to cross. Construction of concrete floodways will improve accessibility.Construct 2 x concrete floodways at chainages 208.6 and 208.96 kilometres.
Nariel Gap Road (Rural Road) - 060349-15VIC-RTR
Water penetration and pavement failure causing potholes.Major patching and pavement stabilisation followed by resealing to an average width of 4.5 m along 265 m.
Toolbrunup Rd, Tambellup East (Rural Road) - 060354-15WA-RTR
Existing seal is badly potholed and corrugated. This road is a major through road for grain and heavy haulage, popular tourist route and school bus route.Stabilise patches and seal to existing width.Total cost of proposed project is $167,000
Gnowangerup-Tambellup Rd, Tambellup East (Rural Road) - 060357-15WA-RTR
Preservation of existing seal. This road is a major connecting road for local and tourist traffic, heavy haulage vehicles and is also a school bus route.Reseal to existing widthTotal cost of proposed project is $178,000
Cassidy Street - 060358-15WA-RTR
Existing Road is failing, showing severer cracking and pavement deformation. The pavement material has reached the end of its useful life.Reconstruction, including replace existing road pavement and new asphalt seal.
Killarney Street - 060359-15WA-RTR
Existing Road is failing, showing severer cracking and pavement deformation. The pavement material has reached the end of its useful life.Reconstruction, including replacing existing pavement and a new seal.
Maxwell Street - 060360-15WA-RTR
Existing Road is failing, showing severer cracking and pavement deformation. The pavement material has reached the end of its useful life.Reconstruction, including removal and replacement of existing road pavement and replacement of asphalt seal.
