Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Victoria Street-Briagolong - 060333-15VIC-RTR
Increasing urban development and high shoulder maintenance requirements necessitates the need to widen the existing road. Edges of seal are constantly breaking away and gravel shoulders have increasing numbers of potholes.Rehabilitate and widen the 1.4km section of road to 6.2 meters, including additional pavement. With the increase in traffic volumes the edges of seal are constantly breaking away and gravel shoulders have increasing numbers of potholes.Rehabilitate and widen the 3.4km section of road to 6.2 meters, including additional pavement. Toongabbie - Cowwarr Road,Cowwarr - 060335-15VIC-RTR
Increasing urban development and high shoulder maintenance requirements necessitates the need to widen the existing road. Edges of seal are constantly breaking away and gravel shoulders have increasing numbers of potholes.Rehabilitate and widen the 1.8km section of road to 6.2 meters, including additional pavement. McAlister Street-Stratford - 060336-15VIC-RTR
The existing roundabout has no formal drainage, edges of seal are breaking away and potholes developing in shoulders which are requiring a high level of maintenance.Works include formalisation of roadway, including the installation of kerb and channel, stormwater drainage including pits and pipes, clear delineation of traffic lanes for safer vehicle movements, and to aline with current standards.Total cost of proposed project is $306,476
Goldring Street - 060338-15QLD-RTR
The work site have pavement and bitumen seal damage in sections along Goldring Street.Pavement rehabilitation, cement stabilisation and bitumen sealing and resealing works.
Airport Road, Hughenden - 060339-15QLD-RTR
This road has become rough and has potholes due to pavement failure.Reconstuct and strengthen pavement with cement stabilising which includes drainage structures and a two coat seal 8m wide x 600m long.Total cost of proposed project is $297,000
Hillier Street - 060340-15QLD-RTR
Widening and sealing of Hillier Street in sections to enable wider access for heavy transport servicing the freight company and wild game storage facility.Pavement works, including cement stabilisation and bitumen sealing. Part of Council contribution may include kerb and channel and footpaths.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
Calvert Road (Rural Road - Tennant Creek) - 060341-15NT-RTR
The Calvert road is extensively used by the heavy vehicles in the support of pastoral proprieties, mining and aboriginal communities and is used as an alternative route to Queensland. Narrow 4.5 metre pavement is dangerous to road trains that are using the road for cattle, fuel and general goods transport for stations. Several complaints have been raised by station owners and managers about the narrow pavement. The widening of the pavement will reduce risk of an accident.Widening of the pavement by 2 metres both sides.
Murray Downs Road (Tennant Creek - Rural) - 060343-15NT-RTR
The Murray Downs Road is used to support pastoral properties, indigenous communities and is part of the Binns Track 4WD. The formed Sand-clay section gets dust holes and wheel rutting and becomes inaccessible during wet. Gravelling these section will improve accessibility.Gravel resheeting from chainage 28.85 to 35.85 kilometres.
Talgarno Gap Road (rural road) - 060344-15VIC-RTR
Water penetration and wearing course degradation has caused pavement subsidence and potholing. Wearing surface is also due for renewal as per cyclic asset inspections.Major patching and pavement stabilisation followed by resealing to an average width of 5.6m for a distance of 520 m
