Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mt Chalmers Rd, Mt Chalmers - 133919-25QLD-RTR
Unsealed portion of Mt Chalmers Rd poses hazard to commuters travelling between Cawarral and Mt Chalmers.Upgrading of 1.5km of existing unsealed road to 6.5m wide sealed standard. Balance of project costs to be provided by Council.Total cost of proposed project is $2,210,000
Hughes Mill Road, Duranillin - 133928-25WA-RTR
The bridge requires the 5-year periodic maintenance as per MRWA requirements. Works at Hughes Mill Road Bridge 4017 include deck maintenance, repairs to the abutments, wing caps, cover strips, pile fillet, expansion joints, and signage.
Back Mimosa Road (Rural Road) - 054052-14NSW-RTR
Renewal of worn pavementForm existing pavement then add approximately 100mm - 120mm (loose volume) layer of uncrushed gravel. Shape and compact
Millwood Rd, Lymwood - (Rural Road) - 133935-25TAS-RTR
Cracks, edge breaks, and potholes have developed along Millwood Road, and although maintenance works have been carried out, the overall condition of the road has deteriorated over time.The section is listed in our asset management system for renewal and is scheduled to be updated in the 2025/26 program.
Netherby Rd, Currie - 133937-25TAS-RTR
The overall condition of KI Main Road (Chainage 0 to John Street – Chainage 380) has worsened over time. Despite regular maintenance, surface defects continue to develop, affecting ride quality and safety.This section is listed in our asset management system for renewal and will be prioritized for future upgrades as part of Council’s ongoing asset management program.
Colenso Road, Harden - 133978-25NSW-RTR
Sections of road have become unsafe due to poor gravel coverage. Apply new layer of gravel 100-200mm thick to the existing unsealed road to replenish lost material.
John Road, Cherrybrook - 134001-25NSW-RTR
Failure of road pavement. Reconstruction of road pavement with asphalt. Hornsby Shire Council will fund the balance by the general fund.
Hodges Lane, (Rural Road) - 134035-25NSW-RTR
These sections have inferior subgrade and have suffered extensive deformation and cracking as a result of increased heavy vehicle movements. The existing pavement displays extensive edge damage on sections that have not received heavy patching. The edge damage involves deep drop offs and breaking away of the seal into the travel path. Rehabilitate road by excavating unsuitable material, adding suitable crushed gravel, stabilise road subgrade, grade and roll to desired shape and compaction, followed by a bitumen seal. Clear culvert, mitres, table drains and reinstate missing guide posts.
London Hill Road, (Rural Road) - 134037-25NSW-RTR
Insufficient formation width with narrow shoulders presenting a hazard for larger vehicles up to B-double. Road is displaying extensive edge break, deep drop off and narrow shoulders. Establish 1.0m widened roadside shoulder by imparting suitable crushed gavel, shape and compact.
Kalangadoo House (Rural Road) - 134053-25SA-RTR
Road has significant pot holing, poor drainage and lack of materials throughout that has seen the subgrade break through Re-Sheet a 1,400m X 7m section of a 200mm gravel sandstone / limestone blend. The project will be jointly funded by Council own source funds.
