Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Excessive vehicle speeds. Speed humps and cushions on approach to pedestrian crossings.
Governor Broome Road, Scott River - 134387-25WA-RTR
Road pavement is in poor condition, little to no gravel, uneven alignment and inadequate drainage.Install new culverts in problem drainage areas and resheet the road pavement to improve alignment, establish superelevations on bends and improve the overall safety of the road.
Beringarra Cue Road (Rural Road) - 134394-25WA-RTR
Sub-base failure due to heavy traffic, Bitumen lifted, potholes, etc.Cut back and reconstruct road where required. Reseal entire road length and shoulders. Resealing or corrections to bitumen and asphalt where needed.
Pedder Street, Fingal - 134396-25TAS-RTR
Bridge is at end of operating life Renew bridge in concrete to extend life
Victoria Parade , Augusta - 134403-25WA-RTR
Poor pavement condition.Asphalt overlay on road.
Wooroora Road, Koombooloomba - 134410-25QLD-RTR
The existing timber bridge is load rated at 5T GVM. It requires replacement of the superstructure due to its dilapidated condition. The bridge is currently closed due to broken bridge girders.Propose to replace the bridge superstructure, extend pavement seal to approaches, improve embankment and abutment protection works with a new layer of rock as rock armor on geofabric, introduce relieving slabs for energy absorption and widen one approach traffic lane for a vehicle waiting zone.Total cost of proposed project is $356,436

Poor pavement condition. Reseal road surface.
Curtis Street/Blond Street, Cowaramup - 134419-25WA-RTR
Sealing of unsealed road. Second seal over section sealed in 2024/25.
Scotsmans Road (Rural Road) - 054063-14WA-RTR
the section can be quite slippery when wet due to the surface being primarily clay and there are several sandy sectionsConstruct a new 9.0 metre wide by 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel pavement carriageway for a total of 3.55 kilometres. Sandy sections will be removed and new gravel will be imported, spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface
Nalyappa Road (Rural Road) - 134421-25SA-RTR
Sub-standard road surface and subject to storm water pooling. Typical grain and access route with increased tourist traffic, and farm access requirements.Widen and improve both vertical and horizontal sight distances. Road to be re-sheeted with quarry rubble to improve road surface. General Council revenue to be utilised to fund project works in addition to a portion of 25/26 RTR allocation.Total cost of proposed project is $710,824
