Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

Turpin Road (Rural Road) - 134609-25WA-RTR
An increased use of this road with carting of blue gums into Nornalup Road has caused the gravel to become thin and the road formation deteriorated. Restoration of the gravel surface is required.Vegetation Management. Reform the road and resheet with 100 mm gravel.
Boyup Road (Rural Road) - 134610-25WA-RTR
The road surface has deteriorated, water erosion and extreme weather events have contributed to misplaced gravel. Gravel is thin on the surface on this portion of the road. The surface is reduced to dust in several locations.Vegetation management to Main Roads WA standards, renewal of drainage and shoulders, installation of replacement culvert pipe and headwalls and a gravel resheet to 150 mm.
Sixth Avenue, Kendenup - 134623-25WA-RTR
Sixth Avenue is almost fully built out within the intended section of work. With the frequency of maintenance grading, the excessive dust and drainage issues associated with the gravel surface, a seal is considered the best form of action.Renewed drainage, final trim and water-bind. Apply a single coat seal with 10 mm stone.
Diapur Miram Road, Diapur - 054083-14VIC-RTR
Undulating rough pavement at the end of its useful life.Reconstruct pavement
Hinton Rd, Greenacres - 134624-25SA-RTR
Road is due for reconstruction due to failure and also getting widened slightly to accommodate safe and convenient street parking. Replacing full length of kerbing along both sides of the road, reconstructing the pavement basecourse, and applying a new asphalt wearing course.
Merriwa Road (Rural Road) - 134625-25NSW-RTR
Road surface is severely deformed and is failing in multiple areas throughout the proposed section (400 metres length, 7 metres width).Removal of damaged pavement, stabilisation of subgrade, importation of new material, mixing, compaction and sealing works.
Whysall Rd, Greenacres - 134626-25SA-RTR
Significant pavement failure and kerbs holding water along various locations. Pavement is due for reconstruction as identified in Council's pavement model. Addressing number of complaints received by St Martin School located along this street and parents dropping off their kids regarding water ponding and traffic congestion.Full reconstruction is proposed between Fosters Road and Kilner Road and deep lift pavement is proposed between Kilner Road and Vasey Street. 100% of kerbing will be reconstructed to achieve minimum longitudinal grades and mitigate water pooling issues. Traffic devices along this stretch of the road are getting reviewed and modified. All of the pram ramps will be upgraded and school children crossing will be upgraded as part of the works.
Warri Gate Road (Rural Road) - 134640-25QLD-RTR
Deterioration of low-level road sections due an increase in tourism and heavy vehicle traffic (landholders and oil & gas). Road unsuitable for use during wet weather due to flooding and boggy conditions in these sections, a major concern when Bulloo Shire has received up to 460 ml in the area since January, keeping the road closed to our rural landholders for long periods of time. - Extension from 2024/25 program Work at various locations along Warri Gate from Thargomindah Bundeena Road intersection. Embankment to raise low-level sections of road and install levelling culvert/pipes to enable water to move under the road. RTR funding provides an opportunity for a permanent fix, to raise the low level sections for community safety and long term resilience. Council Contribution: $1,256,303
Thomas Mitchell Drive, Muswellbrook - 134641-25NSW-RTR
The road is in poor condition, the pavement has failed and is not wide enough to cater for heavy vehicles.It is proposed to widen the road and provide road shoulders, undertake pavement strengthening, provide safety improvements including earthworks, sub - base and base construction, asphalt and bitumen sealing application, linemarking and delineation. Muswellbrook Shire Council has also been awarded "$3,000,512 under Tranche 2 of SLRIP for the Upgrade of Thomas Mitchell Drive - Section CH55 to CH1660 (Stage 4B) including road widening, construction of road shoulders, pavement strengthening and safety improvements including earthworks, sub-base and base preparation and asphalt and bitumen application. The project will also include drainage, kerb and guttering and erosion control."Total cost of proposed project is $3,750,641
Cookes Rd, Windsor Gardens - 134642-25SA-RTR
Severe failure along the full length and kerb segments are damaged and is due for renewal.Kerbs will be replaced as needed; existing wearing course will be replaced with new asphalt wearing course
