Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Road surface severely degraded and suffering from: - Potholes, - Block cracking, - Rutting > 20 millimetres, - Expedient patching, and - Pavement deformation with stripping.Mill and replace with a two coat spray seal with strain alleviating membrane. The project will involve pavement reshaping.

Degraded road shoulders and road requires bitumen widening to allow increased traffic flow during funerals.Repairs to existing shoulders, widen formation to provide 1m shoulders with two coat spray seal with strain alleviating membrane.
Mitchell Street, Axedale - 134441-25VIC-RTR
Reconstruction of inadequate road surface to improve traffic management, safety and amenity Urban streetscape reconstruction of 250m of sealed road pavement within Axedale Township between High Street and Burns Street including construction of kerb and channel, pathway and road drainage improvements.
Mundy Street, Bendigo - 134442-25VIC-RTR
Traffic management to enhance safety of all users including pedestrians and cyclists. Urban streetscape reconstruction of 250m of sealed road pavement within Bendigo City Centre between Pall Mall and Myers Street including construction of new pavement, service relocations, kerb and channel, parking areas, raised crossings, pathway and road drainage improvements. Combined funding from DTP, R2R and COGB own source funding
North Walpole Road (rural road) - 134456-25WA-RTR
The existing road has a narrow seal that is old and deteriorating.Where sections of the road show pavement failure, box out and replace with new gravel. Undertake shoulder widening and form a sealed surface at least 6.0metres wide by sealing the existing shoulder area where necessary. Complete a sprayed reseal on the full width of the road, place guide posts as required, mark and spray centre and barrier lines. Additional funding provided by: Regional Road Group $500,000 Shire of Manjimup $ 50,000Total cost of proposed project is $750,000

Insufficient gravel depth contributing to poor driving conditions including roughness and excessive dust. Overlay 100-150mm of gravel, compaction and associated drainage. This is a jointly funded project with Council funding the balance.
