Pederah Road (Rural Road) - 134257-25WA-RTR
To extend the width of the pavement for road user safety. Shoulder widening and reseal. Box out shoulders to 2 metres wide to a depth of 100 mm. Top up with basecourse. Reseal existing seal with 14 mm aggregate. Minor pavement repairs.
Beejenup Road (Rural Road) - 134258-25WA-RTR
This section of Beejenup Road presents hazardous driving conditions when wet, due to slippery clay running surface. Beejenup Road provides for RAV7 vehicles engaged in grain haulage. It also an access way through to the Stirling Range National park for tourism.Add 150 mm x 8 m non plastic gravel material to road surface to provide a non slip all year round running surface.
Pallinup Road (Rural Road) - 134259-25WA-RTR
Pallinup Road was constructed ready for seal in 2024/2025. This road is a grain haulage route to the Broomehill CBH storage facility. The sealing of the road will provide safe all year round access for both heavy vehicles and local traffic. It will also address the dust hazard in summer which creates low visibiity when vehicles are travelling along it. This project continues work undertaken in previous years working towards sealing the full length of the road.Apply a two coat bitumen seal to 7 m width.
Dyers Estate Road (Rural Road) - 134272-25VIC-RTR
Gravel pavement is worn out. Potholes in pavement. Slippery when wet.Carry out gravel resheet
Burrum Lawler Road (Rural Road) - 134273-25VIC-RTR
Gravel pavement is worn out. Potholes in pavement. Slippery when wet.Carry out gravel resheet
Goyura East School Bus Route (Rural Road) - 134274-25VIC-RTR
Section of road too narrow. Heavy vehicle use is causing ongoing shoulder maintenance.150mm gravel resheet 2m wide and grading of each side of sealed road
Lascelles West Road (Rural Road) - 134275-25VIC-RTR
Section of road too narrow. Heavy vehicle use is causing ongoing shoulder maintenance.150mm gravel resheet 2m wide and grading of each side of sealed road
Murbko Road (Rural Road) - 134289-25SA-RTR
Pavement Widening Road shoulders are widened to improve safety by providing an escape route for drivers who veer off the main lane, reducing the risk of run-off-road accidents. Wider shoulders also offer a safer area for broken-down vehicles to stop, enable slower traffic to allow faster vehicles to pass, provide space for bicycle lanes, and protect the road's structure from erosion and water damage. - In-situ stabilise the existing granular shoulder pavement material, to a depth of 150mm, adjacent to the existing bitumen seal edge to provide a 1.00m pavement widening on both sides of the existing carriageway. This widened pavement will then be covered by a two-coat bitumen spray-seal wearing course to achieve a new sealed carriageway width of 8.0m. - Re-grade remainder of existing granular shoulder material (both sides of road carriageway) to match into level of edge of new pavement widening.
Homestead Road, (rural road) - 054078-14NSW-RTR
The surface of Homestead Road in the proposed work location is unsealed and does not have sufficient road base, which results in potholes and ruts, which reduces the speed at which vehicles may travel along the road. Furthermore, the existing surface becomes slippery during and after rainfall.Overlay the surface of a 3.0km length of Homestead Road with 100mm compacted road base material
Childers Cove Road (Rural Road) - 134291-25VIC-RTR
The road pavement and surface has significantly deteriorated. There is substantial rutting and potholing along the road length. The road will be fully rehabilitated, including the additional of pavement material, widening, drainage and then a final seal. Moyne Shire Council will fund the remaining project costs as part of it's Sealed Road Rehabilitation Program.Total cost of proposed project is $653,238
