Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Boggy Creek Road (Rural Road) - 134292-25VIC-RTR
The road pavement and surface has significantly deteriorated. There is substantial rutting and potholing along the road length.The road will be fully rehabilitated, including the additional of pavement material, widening, drainage and then a final seal. Moyne Shire Council will fund the remaining project costs as part of it's Sealed Road Rehabilitation Program.Total cost of proposed project is $845,374
Cundinup Kirup Road, Cundinup - 134389-25WA-RTR
Highly deformed sealed road with poor drainage. In adequate pavement, safety a concern. Rip road and remove highly reactive clay subgrade. Import quality gravel and reform road to Austroads standards. Replace existing culverts.
Mellis Road (Rural road) - 134390-25VIC-RTR
Gravel pavement is worn out. Potholes in pavement. Slippery when wet.Carry out gravel resheet
Banyena Pimpinio Road (Rural road) - 134391-25VIC-RTR
Section of road too narrow. Heavy vehicle use is causing ongoing shoulder maintenance.150mm gravel resheet 2m wide and grading of each side of sealed road
Owen Rd, Esk - 134392-25QLD-RTR
Existing bitumen surface has deteriorated and requires resealing to improve safety and prevent deterioration of the pavement below. 2 coat crumbed rubber seal.
Gunnawarra Road, Gunnawarra - 134406-25QLD-RTR
The road has little to no gravel left, leaving the surface rough and uneven. This makes it difficult to drive on safely and requires new gravel to restore the road.We propose to re-sheet a length of approximately 2.5km with varying widths between 6m and 5m of Gunnawarra Road with new gravel along the length and width of the above mentioned chainages. The works will include grading the surface, placing and compacting new gravel, and clearing drains where required to improve water flow.
Ball Road, Peeramon - 134408-25QLD-RTR
Pavement works are required to address the deteriorating road surface, improve safety for all road users, and extend the service life of the asset. Completing these works will prevent further structural damage, reduce ongoing maintenance costs, and ensure the road continues to meet community and operational needs.The proposed works involve renewal of the pavement and surface to restore the road to a safe and serviceable condition, ensuring durability, reduced maintenance, and improved user safety. 1. 3147 -5105 – Mill and fill sections 1.6m wide and full width of two sections 6m wide. • Full width from Centre of quarry entry to northwest end (approx. 6m wide x 300m length) • Quarry access within road reserve, 6m width x 90m length • 1.6m width x 123m length • 1.6m width x 22m length • 1.6m width x 23m length • Full width (6m) x 83m length • 1.6m width x 57m length • 1.6m width x 6m length • 1.6m width x 61m length • 2.5m width x 17m length • 1.6m width x 4m length 2. 1866 -3137 Full width section, 1271m in length and 6m wide. Works to include traffic management and line marking. TRC is funding the balance of the project cost.Total cost of proposed project is $1,894,100
Kevill Road, Margaret River - 134423-25WA-RTR
Poor pavement condition. Second seal over section reconstructed in 2024/25.
Cutline Road (Rural Road) - 134424-25SA-RTR
Sub-standard road surface and subject to storm water pooling. Typical grain route and school bus route with increased tourist and farm access requirements.Widen and improve both vertical and horizontal sight distances. Road to be re-sheeted with quarry rubble to improve road surface. General Council revenue to be utilised to fund project works in addition to a portion of 25/26 RTR allocation.Total cost of proposed project is $417,386
Diapur Yanac, Diapur - 054079-14VIC-RTR
Old seal at end of its useful lifeA new seal will be laid over the old seal
