Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Cowell Rd (Rural Road) - 134796-25WA-RTR
Inadequate gravel thickness and poor shape causing blowouts during dry weather and muddy potholes in the winter.Import new gravel to increase pavement thickness. Use grader to re-shape crown and crossfall to ensure better drainage, apply water and roller to ensure good compaction.

Severely deteriorated bitumen has caused pavement failures and bitumen wearing surface has deteriorated allowing water into the pavement cement stabilise with 2% GP cement then 14 mm 95/5 primer seal.
Bundeena Drive, Bundeema - 134812-25NSW-RTR
Bundeena Drive is showing signs of pavement deformation and failures in 2 sections. Council is getting a large amount of request from the local community regarding its condition. Bundeena Drive is the only road in and out of Maianbar and Bundeena towns and only provides narrow travelling lanes and no provision for cyclists.Full width pavement reconstruction (11m wide) approximately 30,000m2 separated into 2 sections, including the provision of an on-road cycleway on both sides of the road and vegetation clearing. Council investigating the possibility of providing a stabilised road pavement base with an asphalt surface.
Tie Line Road (rural road) - 134819-25WA-RTR
Gravel road surface has severely worn to the subgrade due to increase traffic volumes and heavy vehicles during seasonal harvest periods.Road will be re-sheeted with 100 mm of compacted gravel and roadside "V" and off chute drains will be reconstructed.
Premer Estate Road (rural road) - 054075-14NSW-RTR
The surface of Premer Estate Road in the proposed work location is unsealed and does not have sufficient road base, which results in potholes and ruts, which reduces the speed at which vehicles may travel along the road. Furthermore, the existing surface becomes slippery during and after rainfall.Overlay the surface of a 2.0km length of Premer Estate Road with 100mm compacted road base material
Maxwelton Frontage Road, Maxwelton - 134821-25QLD-RTR
Continuation of the seal heading north of Maxwelton to provide better all weather access for the cattle industry and residents and as an alternative access road to the Croydon Road during the wet season.Continuation of the seal on the Maxwelton Frontage Road. Council to fund the other 50% contribution.Total cost of proposed project is $991,536
Coalbrook Road, Richmond - 134823-25QLD-RTR
Continuation of sealing works to provide better all weather access to the cattle industry and residents.Continuation of seal on the Coalbrook Road. Total coverage is 5.37 km.Total cost of proposed project is $600,000
Cascade Street, Paddington - 134828-25NSW-RTR
Fixing up damage road surface.Reseal the road surface. Rest of funds are from Council own source funding.Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
