Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

T Meyers Road (Rural Road) - 134429-25VIC-RTR
The road is corrugated and starting to develop potholes.Resheet this section of road with 100 mm layer of limestone.
Old Northam Road, Beechina - 134436-25WA-RTR
Road pavement is failing, causing an uneven ride and is starting to pothole resulting in reconstruction works being required.Rework base to 150 mm depth and seal road (4,150 metres) with a two coat chip seal. Additional funding from Main Roads of $600,000 and $290,000 from Shire of Mundaring.Total cost of proposed project is $1,190,000
Needham Terrace, Katherine - 134438-25NT-RTR
Road surface severely degraded and suffering from: - Potholes, - Block cracking, - Longitudinal cracking at Providence Court intersection, - Significant surface deformation and cracking at the road sag which appears to provide overland flow conveyance to the open channel downstream, - Expedient patching throughout road extent, - Surface stripping adjacent to the kerb at multiple locations, and - Bitumen flushing at multiple locations.Mill and replace with a two coat spray seal with strain alleviating membrane. The work will involve pavement reshaping and repairs.
Box Ridge Road (Rural Road) - 134443-25NSW-RTR
Edge breaks, formation and seal width deficiency with roughness and rutting.Full width rehabilitation. LRCIP funding the balance.Total cost of proposed project is $455,255
Eliza Street, Keilor Park - 134445-25VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement exhibits oxidation and areas of significant cracking, loss of aggregate and longitudinal roughness. In addition significant lengths of concrete kerbing is in a poor condition. The project includes the following major aspects - Rehabilitation of 850 metres of existing road pavement and resurfacing with asphalt, reconstruction of 1685 metres of existing kerb and channel, reconstruction of existing vehicle crossings where required, reconstruction of all damaged footpath, construction of 1080 metres of underground drainage. This project will be jointly funded by R2R funding and the council's own capital works budget.
Zimin Drive, Rural Road - 134447-25NT-RTR
Degraded road shoulders and edge breakage, upgrade to intersection of Shadforth and Zimin Drive, due to aging infrastructure and increased traffic flow from cars/caravans at nearby tourist spot and caravan park.Repairs to existing shoulders, additional double coat edge sealing of 500mm either side of road. New linemarking and signage upgrades.
South Daymar Road (Rural Road) - 134452-25QLD-RTR
Insufficient gravel depth contributing to poor driving conditions including roughness and excessive dust.Overlay 100-150mm of gravel, compaction and associated drainage. This is a jointly funded project with Council funding the balance.Total cost of proposed project is $89,333
North Weengallon Road (Rural Road) - 134454-25QLD-RTR
Insufficient gravel depth contributing to poor driving conditions including roughness and excessive dust.Overlay 100-150mm of gravel, compaction and associated drainage. This is a jointly funded project with Council funding the balance.Total cost of proposed project is $96,575
Daymar Weengallon Road (Rural Road) - 134461-25QLD-RTR
Slippery gravel pavement and excessive dust creating potential safety issues. Add gravel to existing pavement and create 6 m seal. Construct better road drainage. This is a jointly funded project with Council funding the balance.
Banoon Road (rural road) - 054091-14NSW-RTR
The surface of Banoon Road in the proposed work location is unsealed and does not have sufficient road base, which results in potholes and ruts, which reduces the speed at which vehicles may travel along the road. Furthermore, the existing surface becomes slippery during and after rainfall.Overlay the surface of the entire 4.0km length of Banoon Road with 100mm compacted road base material
